Hi guy, would like to have a quick check with everyone on airport departure tax.

I'm currently in Macau now and I heard I need to save up some local currency (MOL) to pay as tax when I'm heading back to Malaysia.

Is this true? If yes, how much local currency I need to save/pay.

Also, I'll be heading over to Hong Kong via ferry, do I have to pay departure tax too? Which means I'll have to pay twice in total (1. Leaving to HK, 2. Leaving back to Malaysia). Is this correct?

Your enlightenment is very much appreciated.

Thanks!

Nope, so such thing. It is already included in your flight ticket if you are departing from the airport.
