I'm getting worried about my upcoming macau trip. Still undecided on the place to stay.

I'm looking for cheap budget hostel/guesthouse/hotel to stay for 2 nights in macau end of March next year. I'll arrive Saturday night in Macau and leave Macau for Hong Kong on Monday. After Hong Kong i'll be heading to Shen Zhen as my flight's departure will be there instead of Macau.

Seems like the room rate on Saturday will be the most expensive. Any suggestion where i can stay in Macau when i reach there in the evening?

Budget hostel/guesthouse i been researching :-
a) Augusters Lodge
b) Sanva Hotel

So far the reviews above seem quite bad especially sanva hotel.

The one recomended here in this thread is Old London Hotel but it seems to be quite expensive on Saturday for a room (RM453 on hostelworld.com). If i book for 2 persons to stay in Ole London Hotel, do they check and allow 3 persons in a room?

I am thinking of staying one night in either Sanva or Augusters Lodge & then on Sunday change to a better place like Ole London Hotel (will check with travel agent at Macau Ferry Pier). Is this a wise decision?

Thanks in advance.

Ole London hotel is not bad, near the Senado Square area...walking distance la, was there a few months ago...i can still feel the heat!ughh..not advisable for those ppl that cant stand the summer heat..

My air ticket cost only RM128 incl return..damn cheap ahh...so no complain..
I took 4 days to explore the whole Macau + casinos...some of the casinos have nice shows intermittently thruout the day..so just take one extra day to explore as many casinos as possible...*not gambling ya*

Do know if the owner would mind if i bring in an extra guest for a room meant for 2 persons? Not sure if the beds there are good enough for 3 adults. hmmm.

I have a question for those you have stayed or planning to stay at Ole London Hotel. What/Where is the best way/website to book for the rooms?

I cant see to find it's website, only booking sites like hostelworld,macau.com,etc. Do they have an email address?

I'm interested to know as well. If they do not allow cameras into the casino, where can i put them? Any locker?

Do they allow us to bring in a small backpack into the casino?
