QUOTE(yvonnesoo @ Mar 16 2012, 12:22 PM) wanna ask it's necessary to change some MOP for usage in Macau? i will be in HK and will take 1 day to visit Macau. quite a long time didn't visit Macau dy so i'm nt sure whether is there any changes.. previously i use HKD in Macau bt some of my frens told me to use MOP instead.. >_< any suggestion? Dont need. No shop ever rejected HK dollar so far. And do request for the change to be in HKD as well since you cant use MOP elsewhere in the world.

QUOTE(mars1069 @ Apr 2 2012, 10:36 AM) Hi, what is the cheapest way from Macau Airport to hotel at Macau city (near Hotel Lisbao 澳门葡京酒店)? coz the pick up service from hotel charges MOP$300 (about RM115) one way, very expensive. BTW, how far is the distance from Airport to Macau city? I will go with wife and my 5-year-old kid, arrive at about 10:30am, but if too complicated way (need to transit at few places etc) also not suitable for us... Any suggestion? And how much does it cost? Thanks. Hi, from the airport, just hop to the free shuttle bus provided by the hotel/casino. Which hotel are you staying at? The airport is located on taipa island. Taxi from venetian (taipa island) to airport is about MOP35, so from Airport to mainland should be higher maybe double the figure. Let me know your hotel.

QUOTE(mars1069 @ Apr 2 2012, 04:20 PM) I will be staying at Metropark Hotel located at Rua de Pequim, No. 199, Macau. Do you mean just hop to ANY shuttle bus from any hotel/casino? Since my hotel is about 5mins away from Hotel Lisbao, so if I manage to hop into their shuttle bus, they will send us to Hotel Lisbao? But if got free shuttle bus can send us to ferry terminal is good enough already coz our hotel has free shuttle bus from ferry terminal to hotel Also any info about the ferry service from Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal Macau to Hong Kong? Only heard about TurboJET but is there any ferry companies offer cheaper ferry fare than TurboJET? Thanks OK, after checking google map here is my suggestion. From airport, take shuttle bus of Lisboa or Wynns (red) or Starworld (yellow) or MGM so that you will be transfered near to Metro park hotel. When the bus drop you at any of these hotel, just take a taxi to metro park, the most only RM15-20, remember taxis over there use meter so dont get overcharged. Saves you the hassles from going to the ferry terminal or lengthy walking since you have a toddler with you. Print out the logo, the address or a photo of the metropark hotel and show to the taxi driver. Added on April 2, 2012, 5:03 pmThere are also cotaijet and new world. I have used turbojet and cotaijet, fare are almost the same depending on the time of departure iinm. You might wanna check which HK terminal that you wanna arrived at. QUOTE(moody5 @ Apr 2 2012, 06:42 PM) not behind hotel sintra la If you walk from lisboa heading towards senado (Lisboa on your right), then the shop will be on the small lane which is parallel to the main road on the right hand. in another word, near to the Yi Sun Double boiled Milk but it at the inner small lane yala, you read back my sentence. i said on the road parallel to it (main road). behind hotel sintra is to show which side it is at. anyway, the coordinate was given at previous post, should be able to locate it from there.
