QUOTE(caseytung @ Jun 28 2012, 06:49 PM) Hi guys n gals, need yr advices on two issues one read somewhere we(malaysian) need to apply visa on arrival upon arrival at macau. Is that applicable now? Second fr macau to mongkok, which pier shd i stopped at? Thanks in advance M'sian no need visa to Both HK & Macau. Only if you thinking of going to Zhuhai, Guangzhou or even shenzhen in China from there, you need VISA. Well, most ppl going Macau/ Hong kong for sure will visit those surrounding chinese cities.. So advisable to Aplly Chinese VISA The correct pier is China Ferry Terminal just fronting Kowloon Park/Swimming pool. Abit of walking crossing that huge park to Tsim Tsa Tsui MTR stn

No really far-lah.. it's just ~ 400 M South East of the pier. Even my 70yrs old dad can walk >few KM away for sight seeing daily when I brought him to Taipei years ago For your guidance.. Just refer to this maps.. The pier highlighted in red & the MTR stn just beside that I-square buiding http://wikimapia.org/#lat=22.2983508&lon=1...97&z=17&l=0&m=b

QUOTE(stimix @ Jun 26 2012, 09:02 AM) 1hour. Just goto Macau main ferry terminal & buy the ticket to Sheung Wan ferry terminal which is the closest to Honkong Island city center and nearby MTR. BTW, weekend ferry ticket is not cheap Dear all, Have some questions about ferry tickets from Macau to Kowloon 1) What's the difference between normal ticket and 1st class (Difference of HKD50 per ticket)? 2) Can I check in luggage at ferry terminal? 3) Any difference btw the 2 operators?

Free drinks and snacks. More comfortable. Bigger space. Get to go on-board/off-board first. -For me, no difference between the operators. I choose based on destination/departure terminal and sailing schedule, whichever convenient. This post has been edited by Human Nature: Jul 8 2012, 05:42 PM
