Some of the casinos there also surviving nia..even the four season casino, which is also part of Venetian so empty when I last time there
*
the big casinos are all making money. four seasons is mainly a business hotel. and their four season shoppes, well, are real luxury brands.

Planning to go to macau early of Oct - solo trip. Not interested with the casino. I believe there should be much more in Macau - not only the casino. Plan to take AirAsia first flight of the day to Macau and take the first flight of the day back to KL. Planning date is 10 Oct - 14 Oct. Planning for a trip which I do not have to rush around. Any advise for me?
*
DO NOT go in the first week of october. Macau will be packed with mainland people as they will be having a long public holiday. Casinos not only for gambling, there are others attraction like shows and performances too.

I think spending one whole afternoon at Macau Tower is not worth it. Nothing there unless you plan to do their extereme activities. Maybe spend a portion of the time to walk around macau's city/village.

Day 4 at HK, maybe can go aberdeen, repulse bay

In the morning n afternoon will be visiting those stpaul n nearby places
got time to go around macau village? how long will they take?

Day 4 HK
Good idea, thanks
*
macau taipa village is just a walk away from galaxy, which is on the island side. since you are at the mainland in the morning you could take a walk on the city side instead. btw, your visit concides with the Macau Lotus Flower festival. what time would you be departing to HK and from which ferry pier?

The festival is good?
not sure what time will be departing to HK, anytime will be good
which pier is better to take, lets say to HK Kowloon area
*
no idea, just that i saw this in their annual festival calender. i would prefer to take ferry from taipa ferry terminal to sheung wan in hk, then take mrt to kowloon. but maybe china ferry terminal at TST in nearer for you.

house of dancing water is better imho. having said that, zaia is not a letdown either. however, even if you wanna watch zaia, it is sadly ending this 19th sunday sad.gif . i was so contemplating to fly over to macau just for the last show. i can just imagine the crowd and the sentiments. encore performance. i am now arranging to buy their merchandise, heard they are having big discount.

ohh.. bt too bad.. my trip is end of mar.. can't make it.. so HODW is my choice thn.. tongue.gif as for the seat placement it can't be choose right? if i gt a seat at the topmost will i be able to haf a proper view infront or i can only view it on the screen? will seat in the middle is better? definitely first 4 rows is a no for me.. i dun wanna get wet.. tongue.gif
*
end of march, are there still seats available? if i am not mistaken, you will be assigned a seat number before payment so if you do not like the seating, just re-do the steps, or perhaps is a different system now. i sat 3 rows from front, just sprinkles of water aand it was really fun. there is NO screen, so it is better to sit nearer to the center. you also would want to sit at the semi-circle position facing the main backdrop

yea.. still gt many seat available.. haha.. tat's y the system assigned me the top most part seat.. i dun like too top as i afraid can't haf a gd view of the show. bt the probs is i can't manage to choose the seat.. can only choose left row seat or right row seat thn the seat will auto assign to u.. so i guess nobody buy the seat yet, if nt the system won't assign me the top most 1st n 2nd seat..

so u suggest dun seat too far back as can't c properly from tat far? iszit the hall very big?
*
i feel sit nearer can get more connection, not the 1st and 2nd topmost rows at least. can refer to their FB album for better idea:

Added on February 15, 2012, 12:30 pmi would still take the topmost seat last time if they were offered to me as the tickets were selling like hot crossed buns.

Finally bought the ticket... 21 Nov - 25 Nov since all earlier date that I prefer to travel have no promo price. RM 306 for round trip but the fuel surcharge and tax costed 50% of the total price. Crossing my finger and praying hard that there'll be no last minute work commitment. If not, habis lah my ticket...
*
306 is a good price. faster apply leave.

The shows seems interesting. But I think I can only the category C tickets. What does the number on the seat plan means? Any dress code?
*
i guess that is just the numbering system, the number increases clockwise.
catogery C is good enough for the show and experience. no dress code. expect lively crowd.

RM250 and below if that's possible. As long as it's clean, safe and located at a convenient location. At first thought of trying Auguster Lodge. But after researching around, afraid that might not be a really good idea. Maybe will try for 1 or 2 nights but definately will not stay for 4 nights at there.
*
Taipa Square, Grandview or Metropark should fit your budget.

Hi. I'll be going to HK next Wed and am planning to visit Macau on a 1 Day Trip.

Wondering if this deal is good to take: http://www.everyday.com.my/coupons/tr/toom...ource=dealalert

Anyone here can help advise?

Thanks a bunch!  smile.gif

I would say it is a good price as the cost of ferry itself is already around that price. I do not know where the bus will go in macau but if it covers the major tourisy parts and make some stopovers, then consider ok for a 1 day trip.
