Nothing much in Zhuhai..except the underground shopping right below the imigration complex, The ite market st beside the bus terminal & few parks & etc..This is just my transit city before venturing to Guangzhou and Shenzhe...I suggest you do abit loop tour travel from Macau>Zhuhai>Guangzhou>Shenzhen>Hong kong>Macau...Much more adventurous biggrin.gif

Planning to visit Macau, Zhuhai and then HK this coming November.

NEver been to Zhuhai before and will travel together with a group of 8-10 person.

What place to visit in Zhuhai? How many nights to stay at Zhuhai? 1 night or 2?

Hope may get some useful recommendations from experienced travellers here.

Thanks.

If you travel to Macau in the coming months, I recommend you guys to watch “The House of Dancing Water”, which locates at The Dancing Water Theater.
http://www.thehouseofdancingwater.com/en/#/home
Besides, If you have enough time, go spending one-day or half-day on eating around ;-)

yes i concur, superb show, but better purchase tickets at much much earlier..they are selling like hot cakes..city of dream is offering a nice room+ticket package for their hard rock and grand hyatt hotel..nice offer...

a new casino+hotel is opening on mid may, galaxy....hint, head to the swimming pool tongue.gif also take a trip to the Playboy's Club at Sands...nice exclusive atmosphere tongue.gif

also, they have a new panda park...not as crowded as ocean park, HK

the bus service is excellent and cheap, you can just get a card similar like octopus card.
care to let me know which place you intend to go in macau?

if you want one day tour package, maybe you can refer to any travel agent that offer ground package..

You don't need a tour actually

Famous places likes what?
Senado square and The Ruins of St. Paul's are right next to each other then you can go to Macau Museum (Macau City Center)
Church of Our Lady of Carmel, famous pork burger, The Venetian Resort at Taipa (Another island)

My suggestion:
Arrival in the morning -> Senado square and The Ruins of St. Paul's + Macau Museum + Grand Lisboa Hotel -> Lunch -> Church of Our Lady of Carmel -> The Venetian Resort -> Dinner -> Macau Tourism Tower (it closes at 9.30p.m)

Few of the Attractions missed by human Nature:

- The Museum & fort on the hill beside St paul ruin
- Another Fort where the light house situated (Sorry forgotten the name liao)
- Ah Ma temple near maritime Museum - This is the temple on Macau name existed when Portuguese colonised the,,,....Ahhh Mahhh Cou..or something
- The famous Portuguese mansion used to be shooting location of TVB & lotsa drama even Korean dramas..(Forgotten liao haha)

For food, not forgetting the lemon milk beside Senado square..Also very famous..look like Taufu far...

The ferry hor..I dun think economy is only MOP50 or HK$50..can't be so cheap..In 2008, the weekend economy calss ticket from HK tO Macau already cost me ~ HK$400 ++ for 3 or ~RM200++ for 3 sad.gif
