I am now in macao. Those stuffs being sold in luxurious hotels are very very expensive!  rclxub.gif

Went to MGM hotel to take photos. There was really a beautiful hotel. However, this luxurious hotel can costs you RM1000 per night!!!! rclxub.gif

I stay in Potte 16. Chosen the wrong hotel because very expensive as well.

There are many mobile phones shops and jewellaries stores. Samsung galaxy S 2 costs only RM1780.00!!!! drool.gif

Really a good place to travel. Recommended.

A lot of free sample cookies too!

i read your blog, nice update. I read that you take free shuttle bus from airport to Venetian. Did they inquire whether are you the hotel guest? Please share after exit from airport, which direction to go to take the free shuttle bus?
*
They will never ask you whether you are a aguest or not, just welcoming you on board lol. Head right after you exit main entrance of the airport, there is an empty plot for the buses and limo.

thanks for the reply.. this will save my transport cost as hotel charge HKD 20 per person 1 way transport. Any other hotel nearby Lisboa hotel that provide free shuttle bus beside Venetian?
*
if you are talking about the grand lisboa hotel, the venetian is not exactly near, it's across the island..you can try star galaxy shuttle..in bright yellow if not mistaken..or sands hotel

hi people...im going to macau by feb end. A few questions i have and opinions would be appreciated.

1) is it better to stay in Macau peninsular or Taipa?
2) i've booked hotels mostly on agoda before this. But has any1 booked rooms wth others like asiarooms or asiatravel.com or etc and are they reliable?
3) what are the recommendated heritage sites that u think are worth visiting in ur experience and are conveniently close to each other? is it ok to walk fr one heritage site (e.g. st paul ruins) to another, like do we need to take public transport from one to another?
4) is Feb end good time to visit , weather wise ?
*
1. As pointed oout by stimix, no difference as transportation is convenient. If you are interested in the heritage sides, majority of them are located at the peninsular.
2. No comment.
3. St paul ruins is near to several old churches, but temples like na cha temples, ah ma are a lil further.
4. Feb is near the end of winter season and it is stil cold, say around 15 degree and can go below when it rains. Bring a jacket or windbreaker.

eihh Human Nature, I think that mini Na cha temple with old Macau city wall is just right behind St Paul ruin-lah haha

You are right notworthy.gif I wonder which temple that I went to, have to take bus one lol

Na Tcha Chinese Temple built in 1888 stands adjacent to the Ruins of St.Paul, close to the remaining Section of the Old City walls.
