hi everyone, i've been following this thread since V2. Thanks for sharing all these info, it helps a lot.

I've got my HTC One 32 GB silver today at SenHeng pandan jaya, KL (last unit) but there's a black display unit left. TS pls add me,thanks! Nephrite

I would like to share some info:
1. a tiny slight gap at the top bottom of the phone which is between the speakers and the phone (mentioned previously in this thread & youtube that the speakers are not part of the unibody construction as adhesive was used)

2. the lcd screen is not aligned with the top & bottom speakers (mentioned previously in this thread & youtube-i saw a video in youtube, coming new batches should not have this anymore)

3. HTC Sense & Android system software failure. (how it happened: downloading tips & help videos at blinkfeed menu thru wifi. while downloading, I clicked to the home screen, phone started to lag & unresponsive. then 2 messages pop up to send to error report to HTC. (the tips & help videos i downloaded vanished and only 2 videos(stock) were in my menu. Tried restart phone but my downloaded tips videos cannot be seen(not even the download menu)

4. At gallery>My Photos>Events, some of my photos are not in highlight box and when i want to view my photos by HTC Zoe, this error message keeps popping up "unable to create video as there was a problem with the original media files"

dear One users, any advise for the issue no. 3 & no.4?

My phone info:
1. HTC One 801s- SIS unit
2. software number: 1.29.707.3
3. Made in Taiwan(printed on the box)


Personal opinion:
tried samsung s4 yesterday at klcc and i like how it feels in my hands(yes, im surprised too). tried the HTC One does not "wow" me the first time but the more you touch the phone, you'll get the "premium" feeling(same feeling with apple products? hehe).
tried touching the black HTC One and it feels like "rubber". nice feel in the hand with better grip feeling but fingerprint magnet.

The Sense UI is "ok" to me but i agree touchwiz is a bit cartoony. HTC boomsound is not that loud for me but the stereo effect is good. not sure but the Full HD screen does not "wow" me too, but the text in internet browsing is crisp!
dont like pressing the home button twice to go to home menu, ios is still better(kudos to steve jobs)

Anyone encountered these 2 problems?

If you are using the stock Internet browser, click the top right menu button(3 vertical dots), tick on "Enable Flash player". hope this helps.

My phone's gap are these pics & video shown below. between the top speaker and the body of the phone. Can we request for 1 to 1 with SIS? SenHeng wont allowed me to exchange.

update on battery life: 14h 53m 26s still left 13%
**moderate usage with 3g on from 7.40am till 8.30pm, no games played, screen on time 2hr50m with display in auto brightness

Hi douglas, where did u buy your screen protector from?

i noticed a bit difference with the led notifications.

my battery is 9% now in red but there is no blinking red led notification compared to my previous HTC Incredible S phone.(edited: ok, apparently the red blinking led started when my battery is at 8%, no issues now.)

also, did anyone noticed when u select the content for HTC Zoe, the pics & videos you didn't select still appears in your HTC Zoe?

my firmware is still 1.29.707.3, havent upgrade to 1.29.707.16 yet...
