QUOTE(anwarmatlani @ May 19 2013, 10:08 AM) Is anybody got problem with their location service/gps? Mine always says that its off but it actually on. For most apps especially Sense weather, it will require at least your basic location service (cell tower detection) to be on. Your GPS can still be off, though. |

QUOTE(JulianOne @ May 22 2013, 12:59 AM) http://www.amazon.com/SPIGEN-SGP-Protectio...ds=htc+one+case Those cases look good ONLY when new. Once you have scratches on them, it will look terrible and worn. Had my fair share of issues when using such cases years ago, and never again. ![]() Anyone? Spigen case + Free SGP screen protector QUOTE(mytaffeta @ May 22 2013, 01:09 AM) guys, im confuse whether to get this One or S4.. when i navigate this phone at digi centre, seems like the interface at menu is too simple.. do this phone has theme? That's the BEAUTY of this phone. I like my interface to be plain and simply, not like cartoonish / childish TouchWiz UI (I have owned S3 and Note II before). Also, HTC One's Sense 5.0 UI is much much BETTER-LOOKING than even the previous versions. Just my 2 cents. |

QUOTE(AaronJoYee @ May 22 2013, 02:31 AM) Anybody switched from Note 2 to HTC One? Almost the same when you are using both heavily for browsing, internet. Ex-Note II user here and CURRENT HTC One user. Is the Note 2 battery life much more superior or almost the same? QUOTE(duck v3 @ May 22 2013, 01:39 AM) do u guys think there's gonna be a refreshed version? Most likely yes as HTC needs to work twice as hard compared to Samsung to regain market share. like what happened to sensation xe and one x+ i didnt wanna kena again .. I would be very happy to upgrade my HTC One to an upgraded version with even bigger battery, faster processor, etc. |

Anyone here irritated with the slight lag on changing of the Sense keyboard when pressing the 'Symbols' key to change to numeric/symbols?
On my iPhone 5, the 'Symbols' key is instantaneous, but there is a slight lag on the HTC One keyboard. It's quite annoying especially if you use symbols / numbers a lot. I'm looking into getting Swiftkey just to overcome this issue, but I wonder if Swiftkey has similar problems. |

QUOTE(samsung1234 @ May 22 2013, 03:40 PM) Ok, let me clarify my earlier post. Like the moment you press the symbols key and immediately press the corresponding letter key, the corresonding symbol will not engage, unlike my iPhone 5. QUOTE(un_id @ May 22 2013, 03:48 PM) Nope, it has been like that ever since the moment I powered on the phone. Weird, perhaps I should take a video to show comparison with my iPhone 5. |

QUOTE(silrave @ May 23 2013, 12:54 PM) Seeing HTC's Facebook, their warranty claim process is totally hopeless. Some even sent in their phones for months and no news. Not surprising that they won't give 1-to-1 exchange. Even if they got stock, they will say no stock as their service centre attitude is just as such it seems (based on Facebook comments). If only HTC Malaysia had the principles of how Apple runs their warranty claim process, things would be better. Oh well, but that's the difference between a succeeding company and a failing one. |

QUOTE(silrave @ May 23 2013, 01:14 PM) haha Yes bro. Unless your phone can't turn or something serious, then only claim. heard all what u said make me get a idea that no go claim the hp dunno need to wait how many days lol But then again, we must give HTC the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps they want to improve but are held back by various reasons which we do not know. |

QUOTE(kurogane @ May 23 2013, 07:46 PM) Apparently HTC will replenish their stock by next week. Just got a call from Helen to update me (finally!) and she promised I should I get my phone back next week. Let's hope this isn't another empty promise... Well, seeing as their company (HTC) is doing quite well with the HTC One, they should be motivated enough to give good service now. That's all we can hope for. ---------------- I wonder if they themselves can repair, iFixit people noted they really had to break the body to even open the thing up. I took at look at their teardown... http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/HTC+One+Teardown/13494/3 True enough, but this whole week, my experience has not left me with much hope for HTC.... |

QUOTE(azamalin @ May 23 2013, 11:37 PM) Just remember, due to the MANY problems of the HTC One, the unit you are exchanging for might have even more problems than your current one. Example, you could have exchanged your 'gapped' unit with a 'zero-gap' perfect outlook unit, but the screen may be riddled with dead pixels which is a far worse problem. Just a point to ponder. |

QUOTE(aloy88 @ May 24 2013, 01:04 AM) actually i have been following this ! haha Is your sim-card and line both 4G / LTE ready? Normally that's the problem. touchwood , i dont see any gap at my phone. btw, i cant seem to get 4g even tho my iphone friends have 4g connection :S any idea ? I find that my HTC One and iPhone 5 have more or less similar signal strength, and HTC One sometimes is better, so it's more to the above reasons I stated. |

QUOTE(apeqjualsayur @ May 24 2013, 08:24 AM) It was actually better the first day i got it, and somehow it has gotten worse...damn... Wow, you mean the gap became bigger after some time? That's terrible to hear! I went to the same senq, but i want to try other senq if possible. Mine looks the same as the first day I got it, but then perhaps it's best to keep our HTC One away from any tight jeans / pants pocket which might 'bend' or 'warp' the poor construction of the aluminium. |

QUOTE(kpchow75 @ May 24 2013, 11:09 AM) I think latest lcd technology won't let the dust going inside the lcd screen, unless it slip it through during glass bonding process Nice find. Good to know. sos But it'll be a big bummer if somehow the dust can get under.. |

Good morning peeps! Posting here from my HTC One all the way from a hotel in Melaka. Cheerios!
On a serious note, what bluetooth stereo headsets work well with the HTC One? Anyone can recommend? And Beats Audio feature can still work using Bluetooth headphones while playing music right? |
