About 1 hour checking, testing here and there, my final thought is "this is a beauty". I remember while i was having my old Htc HD2, this is what i imagine and hoping what htc phone will be in future. It is really the essence of HTC at an almost perfect manner (well, still some improvement needed in finishing parts especially at the side bezel, and also camera can be higher mp, well we know htc reserve for next phone). Glad that i chosen this over S4. And hey, i doesn't feel like wanna root and use custom rom at the moment. Liking the htc sense, its just very nice, i did not wish for more at the moment. I think this has totally surpassed iphone 5... Although i need to get use to the heightened keyboard lay out, miss type many times, lol.. i will keep my ipad for the ios needs (as a mac user, having ios device do bring sone benefits), but for a phone, One is the one. Glad with my purchase.

(I know i'm a slowpoke, but just expressing my toughts) lol

To check weather your phone is original or china clone:

Open settings ... about device....android version--- 4.1.2 or something like that--- quickly tap 3 times on 4.1.2--- jelly bean will appear--- press long on bean--- many small jelly beans appear moving on screen then it means true jellybean operating system.

Check kernel version under about device in settings---- numbers ended with #1 is qc (Quality Control) passed phone for market. #2 #3 are qc failed lower grade, bad quality phones.

I checked on my phone & it shows that jelly bean is original.

But the QC number I get is #2. when i asked the shopkeeper, he checked his other handsets in stock and they also had #2/#3 in them. (Poor man didn't know how to check the quality of a phone) So, at end it means that I got a handset with #2 Quality Control. But the shopkeeper from whom I bought my phone got entire stock of BAD quality.

any1 with ht35 above serials can confirm the mic is a normal mic or hdr ?
record a song but put the phone infrot of ur woofer.

if it dosent come out buzzing then you have the hdr mic

i think it's a hoax... anyway just a rough survey to all lyn forumers here... Most ppl that already got their HTC One is manufactured in China right? (aka SH for shanghai in the serial number) or HT for HTC Taiwan? read replaies from XDA they said that HT one is better...

hahah dilemma now, not sure to wait for the 5" htc one or buy now.
coz future htc ones might not have hdr mics

i am envy of the screen cause my screen got problem their screen is ok

go to dialer, enter *#*#4636#*#* and click phone information
down there got radio band selection, click gsm/wcdma auto if u dont want lte.

select gsm/wcdma/lte if u want lte
after selecting, hit back. and done! and do not touch anything else

I would rather have a gap problem than a screen uneven problem any day.

it gets better... mine started like yours but now could last like easily 16 hours with quite some usage.... on low usage, it's like 4 hours per 10%

How to do that? Cannot even uninstall the bloody app.

remove ur fb account n readd. when sign in , dun sync anyth.
and dont ever open the fb tab in ur gallery lol
