What's with the camera in fluorescent lit room? So many lines moving kinda annyoyibg and ruin it..
*
install CameraZoom FX. there's a control in the software to adjust to light frequency that will overcome the flickering

is the flickering normal at all? because my unit is quite sever when im in a brightly lit fluorescent room. It is no problem with the camera right?
*
as what other forummers said, it's normal. it's due to the fluorescent light frequency. it happened to my samsung galaxy s3 as well and after installing camerazoom fx, the problem was overcome.

Disappointed with HTC SiS service. Sent my newly bought HTC One in on Wednesday due to dead pixel and promised to update me on Monday.

Not only no one called, had to call them to ask after office hours ended and the people on the hotline just say it's still in "repair" status with no update since I sent it in last week. Can't even tell me when I will get my unit back, terrible.
*
how many dead pixels on your display? mine has one dead pixel but only noticeable if place eyes very near on a black screen so i just 'close one eye' and let it be

Mine is quite noticeable, it's one clump at the lower right of the screen.

---------

Another update on my unit, would have been my one-week anniversary today, but until now haven't even manage to touch it again ;_;

Called the HTC Careline today again and got told there's NO UPDATE still for my phone. And they CAN'T EVEN PROVIDE ME an ETA when I can get back my phone even. Just spouted crap about procedures and they will call me when it is done.

Slowly getting mad now, already sent up there five working days and NOT even processed yet and CAN'T even give me an ETA when I can get the phone back.

oh i see. keep demanding for an immediate replacement!

Hello gais.

New member of this forum he he.

Also new owner of HTC One.

Anyways, wanna ask, the first page of this thread says that SiS only cover 1 year for the phone.

But when I bought it at Sunway Pyramid, the salesdude said the silver model can be covered for 2 years but need to be registered at the sis website.

Now Ive went to the sis website and on the form to be filled, it only lists the HTC One WHITE 810EWHT model. When I look at the box it says mine is 801S. So can I just select that model and carry on? Or is there something else going on? Haha.

Sorry if this question has been answered.

Thanks for any help! biggrin.gif

if you have read earlier post by other forummers, it seems that there is no more online warranty registration for phones distributed by SIS. probably that's why they didnt update the list of phones to include One 801S.
