Anyone tried LTE on this phone? I understand 801s covers 3 reigions, Asia, EMEA and Australia. Buying this phone from any of these areas will have no issues with LTE here in Msia? I'm querying coz I noticed my phone bought here has MID for Australia...

Here's something to confuse everyone even more.

When you register online with SIS, the system will ask you to choose your phone from a list.
On that list, the One is listed as "801e" (you get to pick your colour). Having registered more than a week ago, I can't quite remember, but I'm pretty sure there was no listing for "801s".

It's generally understood by those who have been following the news on the phone long enough that the 801s is the correct model for use on the LTE spectrums/spectra here and in Singapore (2600/1800 MHz). And I'm certain that the vast majority of us who have purchased the phone here and in Sg have the 801s.

Maybe it's just listed wrongly (or for some other reason) in the SIS system as "801e" and whenever someone checks, that's what they see.

If you already have the phone, or are looking at a new box in a shop, you can refer to:
1. the top left hand corner of the sticker on the side of the box cover
2. the end of the second last line of text at the bottom of the back of your phone

if you see "801s", and you already own the phone, congratulations.
if you don't already own one, just go ahead buy the damn thing!

If one look closely , there are 2 versions of the 801s; one for Asia PN0710000 and Aussie PN0714000. Are on on the same LTE freq spectrum? No issues if we are ...can anyone verify please?

Goodness!
I would imagine that if you went so far as to be able to find differing versions of the 801s, it would only take you another minute to find the answer to your question online, no?

We use 2600/1800 MHz and Australia uses only 1800 MHz right now.
There's certainly one spectrum in common!

Not really sure of the point of your question, though.
Or indeed what your question actually is  biggrin.gif
