The way i see it, Lumia 1020 is not an upgrade from Lumia 920. Rather, it is an upgrade from PV808. Those wanting to have the camera but hesitate because of the outdated OS are now simply left with no choice but to donate your money. brows.gif

Also, at least all these technologies introduced by Nokia in the 1020 are actually useful and ready to be used. Rather than coming out with useless features for marketing gimmicks which people are not going to use it anyway.

The next Lumia 920 successor might not even have this 41mp camera and such strong camera capabilities. All it would have is a little bit of design changes and also specs bump in all aspect. Sounds familiar?

So for people complaining nothing changes from the Lumia 920 except the camera, why don't you look at it as a pv 808 successor instead and you will see a new flagship with an OS bump. thumbup.gif

Arguments like that is a bit moot, while the camera of the 808 is great, the platform is obsolete, but hey.. if it works for you..

Ya it actually works for me, and works very well indeed. Since my usage is limited and primarily use it to take picture and sms. It's a very good alternative for budget constraint users. Not to say there are also certain plus point over the 1020. Say battery life, MMC slot, removable battery etc.

But if I have the money I will still buy 1020 though. biggrin.gif

yeah, the price of Note 3 can also buy Note 2 plus 808, so why bother buying Note 3? Can I apply the same theory?

I'm using the pureview 808 myself. And I'm only using the phone primarily to take pictures. So by paying triple the price, I get almost the same camera, so at least for me the pricing is abit high.

Btw if you study the trend of Samsung phone carefully, from S2 to S3 and then s3 to s4. You will realize the sales of S2 soared when s3 was released, due to the drop in price of S2 when s3 was launched. Some users will jump to the latest technology, in your case note 3. Some will only choose the one that match their needs at the right price, note 2.
