actually i prefer AMOLED...the black color on screen is so dark tat u can't really differentiate it compared to the bezel... ^^
but its a personal preference though on a sidenote i think AMOLED do make ur pictures look more colorful than it actually is, coz my 808 Pureview's pics always look less colorful n vibrant when transferred to my comp... |

actually I think over time after NOKIA release more updates to address the phone's issues and any weaknesses found...the user experience would be really good
indeed it has a smaller sensor but i think due to OIS + BSI it should at least match 808 level plus the killer thing that hooks me on is that camera grip thing, so convenient somemore with extra battery n tripod mount... now if only we can get the 64GB version... |

Well have to try n see then we can know more about it
but so far for now some Nokia blogs mentioned that tis camera has better sharpness than 808 due to the 6th lens + BSI + OIS (sounds really gooding here) just hope nokia malaysia to bring in tis model ASAP :/ anyway...there's no sign of a red or cyan one eh? only 3 colors this time? (last time 808 oso 3 colors...hmmm...) |

QUOTE(s7ran9er @ Jul 12 2013, 09:19 AM) Yes, this is everything that I have asked for! yea man, i have a 808 pureview white n a lumia 920 redAs for when, you wouldn't want to spam the Nokia Malaysia fan page because most of the social media team out there doesn't have a single clue when their products will launch, the most common answer will be "it will be here soon in the coming months". So better stop wasting time and shoot more with your Lumia phones! while 808 pureview shoots awesome pics, the lumia 920 is very nice to use plus it has a good front cam for selfies LOL xD but really good battery life from symbian 808, can tahan like so long on its small battery while 920 always easily hot (heat = reduce battery life), i guess tat is the tradeoff for a more advanced OS can't wait to get home after work to watch all the youtube hands-on videos ^^ |

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Yeah Aspire2006, u have a point there, seems like nokia style is like tat LOL (alot of wrong choices so now no choice liao so for us, we can either follow their trend n spend money like water or just be patient n wait abit, then price huge drop we can get good deal say for example 808 Pureview, when come out release time was about 2K just about end of last year period got good deal Becazo selling RM999 for new model so my hope for now is to wait tis new lumia drop price at least a few hundred bucks btw, nokia's budget models don't seem to have so much of all these troubles...msia case is high end nokia phones always slowpoke one... |

41MP will then have oversampling...
basically from my understanding can explain like this : u take 7 plates of chicken rice n u combine the best rice, sauce n chicken meat into one plate... tat is oversampling haha sorry for mentioning about nasi ayam during puasa time, no offense intended to any ppl out there, just thought of this explanation to tell ppl about pixel oversampling haha XD |

this post quite detailed into the camera optics part... for example lumia 1020 has a RGB sensor for better white balance than 808 |

QUOTE(Icehart @ Jul 12 2013, 09:03 PM) Hey agree with u man planning to maybe buy it after lumia 1020 price drop like half LOL (some might call me cheapskate but i'm just trying to get a better price) plus, i have a 808 pureview so actually camera-wise not so much of an urge to upgrade, more interested into the ecosystem n that camera grip accessory anyway, in short, we just buy what we like, appreciate it and enjoy~ |

QUOTE(Savor_Savvy @ Aug 14 2013, 09:14 PM) Heard my friend said taiwan is selling it for almost rm3k (after converting it to myr), with some freebies of coz. Minus the freebies should be around rm2.7k. Not sure how much would this phone cost in Malaysia. taiwan currency exchange rate higher so that explains why price so high, the same applies for the computer stuff in taiwan as well price shud be around 2K range coz stock dun have la hard to get la no color la bla bla bla... then within few months, price start to drop when stocks all smooth n after half a year...price is like fulamak fuyoh |

QUOTE(Icehart @ Aug 14 2013, 11:56 PM) add that with Nokia's already existing variable aperture lens with some form of optical zoom/macro lens possibly same like Sony's external lens approach with the Honami, software wise is Windows Phone 8.5 ahaha |

QUOTE(jonchai @ Sep 5 2013, 08:29 AM) While apps do matter, it's not so much of a deal breaker as the lack of features. wow a very deep insight into WP for Enterprise I once approached a company (name confidential) with 20+ men with the intent to sell a full package to them, a web service that runs on web (obviously), desktop and mobile app (I'm a MSFT guy, so WinPhone it is). I tried to get them to adopt Lumia 620 (for staff), Lumia 820 / 920 (for execs). The deal didn't materialize. Why? Lack of features. I demonstrated a lot of features using my 920 back then, and then I let the top execs get their hands on it. The very first question one of them asked, how to attach documents through emails. I showed them, but they were dumbfounded .... It could only attach one doc per email. Seriously? Back then, there was only PDF Reader from MSFT. Again, how to attach PDF, I was screwed. I demonstrated an alternative, through the use of SkyDrive, but they didn't buy the idea. Next up, the IT guy asked, how to set static IP? Again, I couldn't answer. Corporates sometimes don't just rely on DHCP to do the job. They have specific IP for each device that connects to the network for administrative purposes. These are very important features, yet, to date, still nowhere to be found. WP, to date, is still very much a commercial phone, not recommended for enterprise use. Had they included those features, imagine how many companies service providers like me could approach? Imagine how many companies are already using Windows Phone right now? |
