Sept or Oct not too bad. The reviews would have come and dissected everything about the 1020 and best is that we can read about the first 3 month user issues / break-in period and then decide if it's worthy.

Day 1 price will always be very high and gradually drop in a few months of time if you can wait.

Some people out there doesn't want to be early adopters so if it's worth the wait then so be it! 

yeah, but what I really like is the ability to crop any picture at high resolution after the photo is taken. So no need to keep adjusting and zooming here and there just to find the perfect size on the spot. haha...
Hope that Pelican tech is upgrade-able via software updates and this will make L1020 the perfect camera phone.

I believe this came from a fan, not directly from Nokia .... I could be wrong but it's a hell of a phone. I'm getting one if it's under 3k
