I be honest with you android does sux when its jellybean below aka 4.0

When its 4.0 above thats where the experience is acceptable.

I can swap viber call , line calls, whatsapp, twitter, instagram, web browsing all at once and its not lagging even playing Real Racing 3.

If you open too many eventually it will lag.

Even i buy a Nokia Lumia 1020 it will be my 2nd phone. So before i consider this phone i need to see what android phone to replace my note 2.

Everything else it beats Nokia Lumia 1020 except camera.

even you buy android make sure its minimum quad core and 2GB ram if not it will lag like hell. Must run jelly bean

On a samsung note 2 they plenty of feature to play with non stop. Note 2 is about 7months old already these the features it have. The brand new Nokia Lumia 1020 at 2013 July still do not have 70% of its features and still not real time multi tasking.

I like nokia but honestly they are already leaving out di.

we all due respect towards all smartphones. Personally I think Android is the best OS available now because it is an open system OS and pretty user-friendly.

Nokia don't deserve to be no. 1 spot again. at least yet. We all know WP's major problem but still, it is still a progress for them to climb and rise again.

like I said, I am with Nokia because of its precise camera quality.
both photo and video just STUNNING!

if Nokia became sh*t in camera,
I'll be the first to be leaving Nokia whistling.gif

Nokia had that chance on maemo and meego but they choose to let it die. Android is not the best but for flexibility its the only ONE.

One main reason why Android lags is because of its true multitasking, unlike Windows Phones and Iphones, which doesn't have it.

That is why you require lots of RAM and many cores in Android to run smoothly. Because of that you more or less need to buy top end Android smartphones to avoid lag, whereas the cheapest 512MB Windows Phones doesn't have that problem.

yea i agree what you said but at the moment you have no choice to choose using windows phone even you have alot ram like 1020 2GB u still do not have real time multitasking.

No offense to your professional isnt lumia 1020 same price or more expensive than android high ends phone but you still have tons of limitation.

Notice how bias are you when do comparison just because you never own multiple OS before. In reality learn to have flexible every OS have their pros and cons it depend which you prefer.

Why are you comparing low end vs high end? Why you didnt didnt you say paying high price for low spec? If you wanna debate

Lumia 1020 low end? or high end?

Lumia 1020 is same price as a high end android

Lumia updates slower than high end android phone for the same price

Lumia limitation more than any android combined

Apps limitation plenty. Android have more apps than windows phone

Even getting outdated is faster than any iOS phones or android.

Do you know what are the benefits of real time multitasking? Learn do your research.

I can list them down for you can you?

Hope that clarify your confusion. I know more things about windows phone than you know about it.

One main reason why Android lags is because doesnt put app in suspend mode, unlike Windows Phones and Iphones, which doesn't have it.

That is why you require lots of RAM and many cores in Android to run smoothly. Because the user is dumb didnt kill app when he quit in Android smartphones to avoid lag, whereas the cheapest 512MB Windows Phones doesn't have that problem.

I too own an Android phone, but I don't like its UI. Also because I don't go around chasing flagships, my low end Android annoying lag doesn't help.

I chose to use a Windows Phone because of 3 main reasons - 1. It's people centric UI, 2. Offline GPS worldwide map 3. Microsoft Office.

Windows Phone 8 only came out at the end of Oct, 2012. Microsoft's policy on Windows Phone 8 OS upgrade is the same with Apple's, that is, it upgrades for all phones, unlike Android, where getting an OS upgrade is a matter of luck. That's why it takes a longer time for Microsoft to come out with upgrades, because it tests all phones, and it doesn't want to deal with the problem of fragmentation.

Preemptive multitasking is of course great, but it drains your battery faster and unless we have better hardware, such as the new Intel Silvermont smartphone SOC taking over from the ARM-based SOCs.

I still remember last time , during SE Cybershot era,
I like to modify the camdriver [and also others such as speaker, menu, etc] of my K800, C905 and Satio,

And I always compared those phones with my Nokia N82. Nokia N85 and Nokia N86

well, after modified, those SE phones' camera becomes better

After Nokia produced N8, No more phones can challenge Nokia in term of camera. [except for low light pictures taken by N8]

LOL, I believe later/soon, maybe Samsung, HTC, Sony or even Motorola will try to compete Nokia in term of camera capabilities.

of course they will use Android,

Honestly, I don't like the Android UI,[even I know how to customize it laugh.gif ]

a westerner partnership of course.. just test the demo phone on nokia outlet if it release here. if it suit your soul, just buy it. In Malaysia, changing phones is like changing your clothes.. android - ios- wp8 - android again hahaha whistling.gif so even if you make a wrong choice, just make a trade with what kind of phone you like at present nod.gif

truthfully people like android better because of free hackable paid on the best 3rd party apps and games..it easier wink.gif
