QUOTE(jonchai @ Sep 11 2013, 05:03 PM) I don't think so. The phone would be immediately available for purchase. Remember L900 launch event in Pavilion? I suppose it's the same, in fact, if you attend the event and purchase on the spot, you'd get some freebies thrown in. It was Monster headset back then, probably camera grip + wireless charging shell now? Or even a wireless charging plate? Either way, I'll be there if I don't have appointments to attend to. http://www.lowyat.net/2013/09/11/12609/nok...for-our-market/It is just media event on 19/9/2013, not launch event though

I will wait for the Quad Core/Next version of 1020
Maybe by then Microsoft won't touch the oversampling technology too?

^ Well the price must be competitive and the generous conscious of casual phone users is that Nokia does not worth paying that price.
I'm looking forward to the price and wonder if there is anything bundled (probably no)

QUOTE(ahnien @ Sep 19 2013, 09:41 AM) i was shocked that the model RRP will be rm2xxx but they call it so called "hero model" the one that could bring nokia back into the game. but the price is jus ridiculous. especially with the upcoming availability of NOTE3 in the market at similar price. its not even the same category Based on that I guess that the price is around 2300 XD Then I will definitely wait for the price to drop or go for maybe Galaxy S5 next year

The camera grip should be bundle right?
I think when the price drop, they still will throw in the camera grip as free gift just like L920 did with the wireless charger
I must resist the temptation

QUOTE(OldKidz @ Sep 19 2013, 11:12 AM) Once you resist, new toy is out, than you shall lost your interested in it, or yet other brand phone do catch up with similar spec with better offer, nowadays tech growth too fast... Yeah...I like camera phone but I'm not really a user who will experiment with all the settings so upgrading 920 to 1020 might not be that much of difference to me. Plus there is no significant difference in the OS so changing the phone won't matter much and the feel will probably be the same. I prefer totally changing a new OS every two years, keep things fresh (And I still got one month instalment to pay for my L920 ) This post has been edited by LightningZERO: Sep 19 2013, 11:15 AM

The Camera Grip probably cost around RM180 so 1020 itself is about RM2320...Still pricey

Actually do we have the official retail price? I mean in Nokia Shop because we only know we can buy a bundled one on Storekini. Does every unit come bundled with camera grip or we have an option on non bundled ones?
