Well, experimental people don't usually go for the highest end. Like mentioned before, 1020 is more for the photography fags. 925 is more than good enough for daily use + shootings.

Rm 2.5k is seriously overpriced mang. And when no one buy their phone, Microsoft will come out with stupid ideas like reducing the price and offering educational pricing (like they did with the surface RT), and yes they are playing with their loyal customer. Can't see who will buy this phone, knowing that Microsoft will revise the price drastically in another 1-2 months

Nevertheless, I agreed that the L1020 is seriously priced steeply but I feel Nokia Malaysia strategies Lumia 1020 as Niche Product, also no competitor can compete with its Phone Camera capability. So far.

I wouldn't advice comparing with Note3 or iPhone.
Their main features are different.
Note 3 is better compete with 1520.

I am still undecided to purchase or not.
Will see how as other retailers such as Superbuy get hold of L1020.

Err bundled with Camera Grip, convert from US price is around rm240, may be shaved off rm200, rm2299 sounds ok.

But it's very steeply priced this time. You can't really use Niche Product, 808 PureView is also same, but it's priced at RM1899. Besides, if Nokia-Microsoft is looking to make a different in the market, they should price it right to grab more customers. Now there is much less people buying.
Imagine if the price really drop in very short time and drops a lot, what will the customers who bought it at launch price feel? I believe L800 and L920 early adopters may know the feeling?

It's a never ending cycle, but to wait for another PureView which replaces L1020 "category", may take another year? So, it won't hurt to wait 2-3 months, Christmas maybe or New Year, etc.
It's not a MUST for everyone to get it to become the 1st batch owner.

Besides, now I'm wondering how much will the AP set priced if the authorised set was priced so high. Previously there is one owner who bought online from oversea? Does it cost over RM2.4K?

I understood the feeling for first adopters of L920.
I was about to become one as well, but I decided to wait then only grab a Lumia 620 1-2 month after.

L920 was RM1,999 when announced in Jan,2014 (I assumed) then now (8 months later), RM1,419 @Superbuy.my
Yet, no bundled with Wireless Charging at Launch. A big big loss, that is all I can express for early adopters.

Still, I feel what is important is they continue to love their phone.

Actually do we have the official retail price? I mean in Nokia Shop because we only know we can buy a bundled one on Storekini. Does every unit come bundled with camera grip or we have an option on non bundled ones?
