QUOTE(arbelnox @ Sep 19 2013, 11:31 AM) Just asking, will QuadCore solve this time-consuming process problem? I thought a dedicated graphic chip will play the role more vitally, no? Not likely. It may reduce the lag by less than half the time, say if it's 5s, expect 3s for quad. Dedicated processing chip is still the way to go (or at least, throw in a hexa or octa)

QUOTE(arbelnox @ Sep 19 2013, 11:33 AM) oh yeah, this 2499 is 32GB? Is there any pricing on 64GB? Don't think it'll reach our shores. 64GB is meant for telcos, ours aren't keen on supporting Nokia. Same with 925 32GB This post has been edited by jonchai: Sep 19 2013, 11:35 AM

Dedicated processing chip is still the way to go (or at least, throw in a hexa or octa) Dedicated chip makes it hard to update the algorithms, and everyone seems to think it's the processing that's thiking time. Hasn't anyone thought about the time taken to write the large file to the storage?

The Camera Grip probably cost around RM180 so 1020 itself is about RM2320...Still pricey

Hasn't anyone thought about the time taken to write the large file to the storage? Writing file to storage shouldn't really be much of a problem if it's a flash drive. You don't find similar lag on a 808 As for algorithm update, it's only a matter of firmware update.

QUOTE(GothFebrio @ Sep 19 2013, 11:33 AM) too expensive, lol. maybe because they bundle the camera grip together. meh... almost 1k+- price difference with 925 and 920, for a better mobile camera. 2499 memang a bit overprice if 2.1k with camera grip then i think it's reasonable QUOTE(jonchai @ Sep 19 2013, 11:33 AM) Not likely. They'll just screw you over and tell you, dude, wait in line.

Cos Nokia rumored Bandit is supposedly running GDR 3 but with next gen chasis already right? Anyway, I will wait till Christmas bundling offer for L1020. Past experience taught me first batch isn't always the best.

QUOTE(chaukeng @ Sep 19 2013, 11:51 AM) Can buy three units of pureview 808 at this price. Arguments like that is a bit moot, while the camera of the 808 is great, the platform is obsolete, but hey.. if it works for you..
