can't help you on the comparison since i've never experienced the bridgestone

however if you want further assurance and don't mind paying, there's always the yokohama Advan DB wink.gif

i've tried both....Bridgestone Turanza AR10 definitely better.... but Yokohama C Drive 2 orange oil tyre quite good too... but AR10 better in term of handling and grip. both are about the same... just take which is cheaper...and i think yokohama c drive 2 is cheaper.

never try bridgestone because too expensive but im using the yokohama c drive 2 now size 185/60/15. doing 120km/h when heaving raining at highway still steady. tried run over big patch of water at around 80km/h the car won't 'buang' but a bit scary... i bought it at rm200/pcs

just as a precaution, if you're driving over 120-140 and running over heavy downpour/water puddles with your c drive 2 under 50% tread/1-2 years of usage, you will aquaplane pretty badly sad.gif

my c drive 2 clocked about 30-40k km mileage (lasted much longer than general feedback, and usually spirited driving too, just took around/almost 170-180km/h on MEX earlier tongue.gif)

thanks for all your feedback, guys but I finally settled for the Bridgestone T001(made in Poland) at Rm 350 ppc. sidewalls are softer compared with the Yokohama C Drive 2, but I hope it's the right decision

I have tried both AR10 and C drive, in dry, it is not much diff, maybe AR10 is quiter and more comfort. In wet AR10 wins hand down, C drive got no grip.

I'm looking at comparing these two also right now.. Latest price from a shop in Klang revealed that AR10 is cheaper by RM5/- for the size of 205/55R16..

Tried C Drive 2, noisy.. Decided to splurge for Primacy ST3 205/55/R16, no regrets, very quiet tyre

Does the Yokohama Advan DB aquaplane badly, or is it comparable to GY Assy2? The Yokohama Advan DB thread seems to be very refined.

it won't be comparable against Goodyear's flagship tires that boasts spectacular wet performance/aquaplane resistance.

Advan DB is only marketed as luxury premium comfort/low NVH tire and nothing more; That, and Yokohama's never been a stand out player when it comes to wet performances based on their past records.

if wet performance is your priority, GY E F1 AS2 is a better choice; However if comfort/low NVH is your preference instead, then Advan DB would yield a better result

I don't like my C drive 2..... 205/55/R16.

Sidewall too soft (comfort tire after all), the car not very stable in corners.
Gonna live with it since not willing to fork out more $$$ to change different tires.

Comfort wise, it was better than the old Falken
