Darn Hasbro package FOC Bruticus (actual color) & FOC Grimlock in to a Platinum series gift set... sigh . I'm guessing Grimlock will be "widely available" later on then.

Each has it's pros and cons. The FE mold may have a "backpack" but the actual mold is quite sturdy. The vehicle mode is larger and more menacing with lot more detail. The RID mold bot mode is more streamline and sleek but suffer from strange arm articulation and in vehicle mode he is very small. Color wise FE has a slight purplish-blue tint while the RID one is closer to pure black. Both mold are quite nice and worth collecting IMO.

orestes... Don't forget to count in Legion class Vehicon, Jet Vehicon, Jet Vehicon General (silver) and the upcoming Legion Class Jet Vehicon... (LOL)

The PRID Deluxes should be selling around RM45.90 at the moment if not mistaken. I don't think the green stickers (10% discount) apply since it's already on a promotional price (to clear PRID stock I think). Get Hot Shot... it's a nice figure

Why are people paying RM140-RM200 for FOC Grimlock then when the actual retail price is only RM109.90. You can't really blame people for being enthusiastic by getting the figure early and paying retail price for it since those who does actually think it is worth that price. You also can't really predict how the market will flow with these figure so most people will rather pay retail price for it earlier on then to pay scalped price for it later when it really becomes rare. It's also subject to the matter of supply over demand. You'll see stuff selling at lower than retail price when seller are faced with overstocked items with initial thought that the particular item will sell so in the end they have to lower the price to improve the sales quantity to justify the cost.

Final thought... It's a matter of balance between patience and enthusiasm. If you like something and don't mind paying retail price for it then go ahead. Otherwise if you are the patient type who can wait and strike at the precise moment (like Mr.Chan over here ) then you will be able to get what you want at a good price . Don't blame the people for being impatient ... just blame how today's market flow.

I beg to differ guys. The live action movie did brought some new elements to the Transformers Universe eventhough the lore may not be accurate to the actual Transformers history/timeline. The more "mechanical" design may not appeal to everyone but they do make the Transformers characters more realistic and believable. I though the 1st movie did very well despite some flaws. The story may be simple but it flows well and brought back a moment of nostalgia when I 1st watched it (Especially on scene like the "Autobots Arrival" ). Can't say I like ROTF and DOTM much as you can basically throw the storyline down the drain (DOTM has a better plot with Sentinel Prime but the ending is just...ugghh) but they also added in some pretty interesting characters like Sideswipe, Dino and the Twins (They are 2 dimensional but nicely design). Since most people said that the humans characters in the movie are just basically extras so why not make a movie with just Transformers in it like WFC and FOC ? I guess they can't do that since the story basically took place on Earth. I don't carry much hope for the plot of TF4 either but I just take it with a pinch of salt and hope for the best .

Oh Heck.. who am I kidding I just watch it for the sake of the robots.

How bout War For Cybertron / Fall Of Cybertron ? I think some of the IDW comics also can be convert in to good movie script.

It will be quite a majestic sight to behold if someone manage to put all 3 different "Non-Predaking" together in one shot...

Woot... they've have just shown Generations Whirl at SDCC. I just really love the CHUG line. Very nice to see classic characters being re-engineer in to a new mold but still keeping the aesthetic of the original character look.
