Headache to make a decision between these 3.

Taken with consideration of road conditions in Malaysia and people randomly scratching your car.

Any advise?

Fiesta, worth a second look. biggrin.gif

Mazda2 HB, kinda feminine, imo.

Satria Neo R3 also not bad, but the darn platform is aging liao sad.gif

lul but myvi not bad la actually.

hmm.gif i heard the same too but they say supercharged Cooper S lagi troublesome when it comes to reliability (a.k.a when breakdown, hard to service), and im not very good with cars but does that turbocharger means a turbo? (in pic) maybe u can just swap it with aftermarket turbos if it breaks down..

Mazda2 feminine but I like the sharp details i.e brake lights.

Neo also not bad la, i wanted that but in the end took myvi cos my sister also wants to drive. :s

Myvi got brake issues still, no? But quality wise its better than proton la.

Yup, turbocharger = turbo

mazda 2 got roots with the fiesta, so handling/driveability is gooding drool.gif

neo memang not bad, just that a new model is long overdue..

what brake issues ah? the only issue with brake i have is need to tekan quite alot for the brake to makan when driving at high speed, idk why. hmm.gif

maybe the turbo can install aftermarket, bigger size too brows.gif

go test drive mazda2 + fiesta la. i also like fiesta but no moneh cry.gif

neo r3 is outdated indeed. they need a bit of facelift for it also. it's quite a sporty looking car but the bumpers are sooooo round and not even striking. Neo R3 can go far with proper design.

brake noise i haven't heard yet hmm.gif vibrating don't have also. mine is the new Myvi, EPS one. not sure if the vibrating issue is with older models or not.

with a little tuning most probably can one. not the biggest turbo but even small one also ok one.

Almera nice meh, I find the design like honda city 2003 model. big body, small wheels. yuck.

neo interior not bad but very plasticky. they should try use more like rubbery looking things so it doesn't feel too plasticky biggrin.gif

gotta say proton flx vs myvi

myvi
- got value ABIT
- proclaim better quality (my staff car 2nd week already got problem with locking door)
- i like the gear on the dash drool.gif
- seat design is good for city drive
- parking veli easy which come in handy if u city user
- FC lesser than FLX about 1-2 cents per KM

FLX
- AIRCOND BERY COLD ~ very for regular noon driver !!! like me
- larger space if u carry ur gf, her parents = no problem
- price diff compare Myvi about 5k-7k (pump petrol also can use for few years)

The flx is alright but expect some weird brake drummings after some time but if you're looking for space its ok.

While Myvi has a better interior quality than Saga flx and better feel while driving but the space is quite small and the boot is not spacious.

Vios no comment coz never drive before.

FYI sat on a flx (BLM plate, should be 1-2 years old), when engage reverse gear, loud and irritating whining sound. Sat at front passenger, whining sound can be heard when car is moving. No comments on handling. Somehow i feel the speedometer is kinda cheating, it shows 110km/h and look outside, feels like 90-100. The boot is a plus, and might be the reason to buy one.

Myvi interior feels cheap, go over potholes be ready for some spine injuries, fuel consumption wise, decent. Be ready for interior rattling if park under the sun. Reliability no problem, it will always start and always get you to your destination. Newer model the engine sound is much isolated than the old one.
