They took long enough to renovate it.. first I enter MMU and and now I graduated only they open back hostel  biggrin.gif

The story started from ...

I heard ... that last vendor did not do the job properly. The roof leaks after the renovation. Appointing another vendor to fix the problem, take

New budget approval (Usually 12 to 16 months - most company do budget year ahead)
New call of quotation ( Usually 3 months)
...... ( another 12 months, explanation in meeting .... asking why why why .....)

I think years passed now.... lol

This may not be real, just pop out from my mind.

Step by step guide for MMU Manual Subject Rgistration (From June 2013 onwards) faculty of business

Why do we need to register subject manually?
Students normally need to register a subject manually when a subject is
1. Clash with one another, or
2. Reach Full capacity

The durations for manual subject registration is two weeks. week one and week two. weekday starting from 9 am to 4.30 pm.

1st :
Numbers from 1 - 100 will be distributed per day, at FBLR Building 3rd floor ( lift turn left). Students who wishes to add their subject manually must take their own number, and wait for their turn.

- only 100 students daily. Students without number will not be entertained.
- Numbers are being distributed from 9 am every morning. bUt students queue up earlier than that. As in my case, I reached there at 9am and got number 67.
- once number is taken and if its still early, you can leave first.
- to determine whether your number is approaching, you can simply visit Facebook page,' faculty of business MMU 'for prompt update.

2nd :
After the number has been taken, you should go to the admin office in FBLR 5th floor and ask for a manual subject registration form, fill up the particulars, and wait for your number.

3rd :
this is optional. but should serve as an additional support in case the person in charge are hesitant in arranging your preferred slot for you due to several reasons. hence, this is recommended.

From ICEMS, online subject registration page,
-click add subjects.
-add the particular subject you want to do manual add.
-when the subject surface and is unable to register, click on the 'print' button and print out the form.
-once you have the form with you, bring it to the lecturer of that particular subject, and request for their official stamp. (Lecturers are not obliged to give you approval, but most of them will.  smile.gif )
-Then, together with the form you fill up in the 2nd step, wait for your turn.

4th :
Wait for your number, enter the room and just be nice and polite to the person inside, and you should be fine. smile.gif

Important reminder:
-The above steps could be wrong and I won't be held to any responsibility for any misleading info.
-Please remember, anything after the 2nd week, will not be entertained.
-it is advised to only resort to manual registration if you really can't make it. But not because your preferred slot is taken.
-even if you failed to register for any subjects, just attend the class as usual and write your name, ID and sign on the attendance list. but proceed with manual add ASAP.

I think that's it. Manual add is stressful and it is best to avoid it by registering your subjects early. good luck everyone.  biggrin.gif

MMU TOP TIP:

Every year we have to rush for subject registration, seniors are given priority to register first then later to the juniors, we do not get what we want always so try to work within the system.

Ohh yahhh next month MID TERM DEE tongue.gif

I think last trimester, junior was registering before the senior. (per-registration)

2. Heard people around discussing which is more easier to score and which isn't, what is meant by "EASIER TO SCORE"? what the score for?
*
Easier to score means easier to get better result. Coco is consider a normal subject that will contribute to your GPA or CGPA count.

Hahaha naww I pay when it is near the barring date. That way I'm sure that they've updated all the fees. Before this paid early then have to pay again because they update the library fees and what not at a later date. Finance really should update them all in one go.
*
I think few clicks at CIMB is not so hard to do, am I right?

Pay later, you may already spent the money before the due date.

Pay later, you may has higher risk to get bar in case you are not manage to pay in last few minutes. Internet down, lost cards, account locked or etc....

*
If you are extremely good, some companies might offer scholarship to you with some conditions. Like work with them part time or after graduate.

You don't want to graduate just because of wanting to save that 1000 RM.

Why not? It's bad to save money your parents money nowadays?

Graduate early, your profile start early. Your earning also increase early, which will reflect the more earning in the future.

Delay of graduation just for the sake of RM1000, if your boss aware of this, I don't think this is good impression.

In other words, you are playing with the system. Still can't call abusing but toward that.

Just like many don't want to graduate but keep on repeating the subject so it looks better or getting something else...

Just my personal opinion, nothing else.
