QUOTE(yoroxiongmao @ Jun 1 2013, 10:44 PM) Ah , so I cannot enter the school without the sticker la? Yes follow what human nature said. Or you can tell the guard, bang ni Pelajar baru Nanti mahu pergi buat sticker. Then you immediately go apply and put the receipt on your dashboard, then you will be fine. then do you guys know anywhere else to park? That Is if you insist in parking inside, Frankly speaking its easier to find a parking slot outside, than inside the campus. This post has been edited by chaukeng: Jun 1 2013, 10:52 PM |

QUOTE(nymerine @ Jun 4 2013, 08:44 AM) They are.. and our assignments/quiz is all there.. EXACTLY! It happened to student in foundation in management aswell! i even complained to human nature that time. Most of us complained about it, I believe lecturer has stopped using this kind of website, it was back in 2010 by the way. I'm not sure bout that though, is there any Foundation in IT students in here? There were 3 subjects, if im not mistaken. One of them is the thick one at that. And all that we used were the online code. Since then never buy any textbooks. Bad example. |

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Jun 4 2013, 10:18 PM) Haha, i got no authorization to issue any letter one The thing is you can sense controversy when the author of the books are gaining indirect authority to 'force' students into buying their books. On a serious note, I am okay with using this method of learning as the vast question bank is a useful tool. Just depends on how effective can the instructors harness it. In this case, it is more of a human element than the software. Thus, a win-win situation is for students to give feedback on how they want to utilize it, and if the instructor don't really make good use of the tool, then the faculty should be aware of it and seek remedial action. Furthermore, the assessment aren't that great either. We are given a few attempts each student, and there are only very limited sets of questions. Which means most likely you will encounter the same question in your second attempt. And since it is a home based click and submit easy work, students dun really do it themselves, real story. |

Step by step guide for MMU Manual Subject Rgistration (From June 2013 onwards) faculty of business
Why do we need to register subject manually? Students normally need to register a subject manually when a subject is 1. Clash with one another, or 2. Reach Full capacity The durations for manual subject registration is two weeks. week one and week two. weekday starting from 9 am to 4.30 pm. 1st : Numbers from 1 - 100 will be distributed per day, at FBLR Building 3rd floor ( lift turn left). Students who wishes to add their subject manually must take their own number, and wait for their turn. - only 100 students daily. Students without number will not be entertained. - Numbers are being distributed from 9 am every morning. bUt students queue up earlier than that. As in my case, I reached there at 9am and got number 67. - once number is taken and if its still early, you can leave first. - to determine whether your number is approaching, you can simply visit Facebook page,' faculty of business MMU 'for prompt update. 2nd : After the number has been taken, you should go to the admin office in FBLR 5th floor and ask for a manual subject registration form, fill up the particulars, and wait for your number. 3rd : this is optional. but should serve as an additional support in case the person in charge are hesitant in arranging your preferred slot for you due to several reasons. hence, this is recommended. From ICEMS, online subject registration page, -click add subjects. -add the particular subject you want to do manual add. -when the subject surface and is unable to register, click on the 'print' button and print out the form. -once you have the form with you, bring it to the lecturer of that particular subject, and request for their official stamp. (Lecturers are not obliged to give you approval, but most of them will. -Then, together with the form you fill up in the 2nd step, wait for your turn. 4th : Wait for your number, enter the room and just be nice and polite to the person inside, and you should be fine. Important reminder: -The above steps could be wrong and I won't be held to any responsibility for any misleading info. -Please remember, anything after the 2nd week, will not be entertained. -it is advised to only resort to manual registration if you really can't make it. But not because your preferred slot is taken. -even if you failed to register for any subjects, just attend the class as usual and write your name, ID and sign on the attendance list. but proceed with manual add ASAP. I think that's it. Manual add is stressful and it is best to avoid it by registering your subjects early. good luck everyone. |
