Read Hajime no Ippo. It's a boxing manga, now over 100+ volumes (1000+ chapters). You can see the art style evolve over time. And just because it's boxing doesn't mean it's boring: it's hilarious, emotional and action quite engaging.

QUOTE(lucifah @ May 15 2013, 06:22 PM) I read everything (except Yaoi!), and some titles are for my kids last time. I'm a hoarder, I don't delete stuff. That listing doesn't cover the DVDs of manga I've burned.I do read some shoujo, like Skip Beat which has great humor. Glass Mask was a classic way back from the 70s and I even saw some Malay versions, and was even made into a live action series. This post has been edited by ray123: May 15 2013, 06:26 PM |

QUOTE(pherac @ May 15 2013, 06:22 PM) oh my, claymore! That's Cage of Eden, and if you haven't started because of cliffhangers you should know it actually ended already... on a timeskip and a cliffhanger. Rushed and unsatisfactory ending, no idea if there's a sequel.Do you guys read the one in which a bunch of japanese students had a plane crash on their school trip and found themselves on an island with extinct animals like dinasour and other crazy giant creatures? |

QUOTE(alimsacred @ May 15 2013, 06:29 PM) Not really, since it's difficult to get their scans. I don't really read the originals in Chinese, I only had the Malay ones when encouraging my kids to be more fluent in Malay.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « For good measure, comics... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(Ravenbz93 @ May 15 2013, 06:33 PM) Ubel BlattQUOTE When the Wischtech threatened to invade the fiefs of Szaalanden, the Emperor dispatched fourteen youths. Of these, the Seven Heroes halted the invasion to herald a time of prosperity while the four Lances of Betrayal were supposedly defeated. Two decades later, the Lances of Betrayal have reappeared and formed a bandit militia near the frontier fief Gormbark. A man with a black sword and a scar over his left eye slays an entire troop of that militia. He is identified as the boy, Koinzell, and becomes as much an object of fear as of hope even as his own past, motivations, and purpose are a mystery to those he meets on his journey. Akame ga Kiru (or Akame ga Kill) QUOTE Tatsumi is a fighter who just got robbed by a pretty girl, but his luck seems to be looking up, as another pretty girl has taken him in. What he doesn’t know is that this girl is about to be visited by a family of assassins (including the girl who robbed him) and they might be the good guys, and be recruiting... |

QUOTE(WhatIwillDo @ May 15 2013, 07:57 PM) yeah, not bad also, the girl that can see the future with the blind assasin, i stop at chapter 130. guess i will cont back. thx for the reminder Fans of Until Death Do Us Part should also read Jesus and Yami no Aegis (Aegis of the Dark) that have crossovers into the series. Older Kreko readers will remember Jesus, the story about the hitman disguising as a school teacher. |
