My bright silver forte 2.0 just turn 1 year old today. 25,000km. FC average 10.xL/100km. Mostly city driving. So far so good. No major issue. Love driving it! Happy birthday my forte!

But recently got some weird issue whereby she will tell me that the smart key is not in the car. Not sure if this is a sign that the battery in the key is weak. Have not change it since Day 1. How long can the battery last?

Another funny issue encountered recently (only once) is the reverse sensor will beep even though the car is stationary and I just put the gear into D. Weird.

A few times, after engaging the brakes from 140km/h (not emergency braking), upon slowing down, can feel a sudden stutter. Not sure if that is the ABS or EBD engaging.

Anyone renew their speednavi subscription for 2nd year. My expired. Not sure whether want to renew. I only used occasionally. Ok only. Main issue I hv with the GPS is sometimes no signal. Not sure if this is due to speednavi or the GPS hardware we have or due to my tinting. I hv the Raytech tinting but not very dark and I think within the so called JPJ guidelines.

Also thinking of sending my baby for another round of coating. The paintjob looks quite new. Still shiny. Washed her every week with Meguair's Gold Wash. Did a cheap Permanon coating with Dirtaway last December. But I feel the water beading not there anymore.

Windscreen coating - Not sure which one can last. Hv tried Permanon. Rainaway. And another one from Turtlewax. Effect of water beading only a few weeks. then gradually gone. Maybe due to washing of the windscreen with Meguair Gold Wash.

That time they hv promotion for permanon coating for RM 199 including washing and waxing.
