QUOTE(dvinez @ Jun 20 2013, 09:23 AM) got ppl use paddle shift most of the time? I use it every time I drive. Since Nov 2012. No problem so far. I usually use the gearstick when up/downshifting at tight corners. Steering wheel pusing more than half circle, hands crossed ady. Last time jadi like that, all also I langgar. Wiper, signal.. Haha will easy rosak or not lol yesterday only discovered that can use gearstick push up/down to change gear, quite syok. personally feel better than using paddle shift. macam arcade car lol |

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Jun 21 2013, 08:52 AM) SC will not install anything not approved for you. Max that they can do is close one eye on what you did there. When you go service, just tell them not to touch your spark plug or filter at all. Make sure to ask them to ommit the part fee and labour charge of changing. These are wear and tear parts which are not covered by warranty anyway. Got it. Tq! |

QUOTE(gigohlo @ Jun 21 2013, 08:56 AM) Actually, I would rather let the SC charge me for those parts that they supposed to replace for me. That way, in the records no one (most importantly, insurance company for our +3 years warranty) knows you modded I also thought about that. But then it defeats the purpose of waiting until the proper service interval to change the parts. Haha. I've been waiting 30k km to change the plugs. What I did for my K&N filter was replace back to original just before service and let them change the air filter for me |

QUOTE(CyberKewl @ Jul 7 2013, 11:59 AM) Just got the voucher at 1u but just noticed at the back that it is for purchase of parts only... Means cannot use for service If minor service, we can't use it. But it can be used for major service that has part(s) changing. And only useable at Naza Kia branches only. Authorized SC, no no. QUOTE(kylie983 @ Jul 9 2013, 12:54 PM) I also did my coating at Waxson. C.Quartz Finest coating. I think the price is around 2k++. But I got it as a gift. Heheh. There's a lot of construction going on nearby my house and also route to work. Car gets dusty in only 3 days. Dirts and dust are easily washed away. If you're a person that is really particular about the outlook of your ride, coating will save you a lot of trouble. Albeit the higher price. |

QUOTE(codenamew @ Jul 21 2013, 05:12 PM) hi, can anyone pls guide me the proper usage of the paddle shift? if i wan to overtake a car, so i rev it higher at lower gear then shift to the nex higher gear? quite new to driving.so sifu pls share ur experience. n also when climbing up genting hill. how should i fully utilise paddle shift? Let's say you need rapid acceleration, just shift down from whatever gear you are on at that moment and press the pedal deeper. Just a basic theory lah. If you need more, down shift one more. |

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Jul 22 2013, 06:39 AM) The car is running at 120. No car can have wind noise silent if your ears are sensitive. I am not sure he can differentiate wind noise from road noise. Well, at least I can hear both in mine lolIt really takes time to listen surpass the tyre's noise and able to concentrate on wind noise. |
