QUOTE(rompers @ Jun 1 2013, 02:49 AM) Bro, for this issue, I have an idea: Try going to the hardware shops and get a reasonable thick rubber strip (something similar to the door strip which ppl stick onto the bottom of the house/room doors) + 3M double sided tape (the toughest kind u can find). Then u remove the Orsen Skid Plate and stick the rubber strip all around the perimeter. This should solve the 'gap' issue. PS - just a suggestion That is what I was initially think of. I was thinking of those small d rubber strips. However I cannot sourse at such short time. I will see how it goes. It is not because of the installation that the plate and undercarriage has gap. It is because of the plate design. No matter how you bolt, lock, the gap will still be there, unless u seal it with rubber. So now I am thinking if I should seal it. Anyone knows if it should be totally concealed? This post has been edited by lingleeyen: Jun 1 2013, 09:15 AM

QUOTE(Jemi @ Jun 1 2013, 07:13 AM) Since my car very new, is it normal when FC very high? I pump RM90 of RON95, mileage only around 150km almost half use up. Currently shows 14L/100km Hmm...your right foot is 5000 kati is it? Mine is 3 kati only. My car's first full tank gave me 420km before going empty. But if your 'almost half use up' still have 1 bar to go, then it can go to 200 by the time it is half. Don't worry too much. The car will be OK.

So, I expected 200km when its half tank.

Currently shows 14L/100km I got my Forte 2.0 around 1.5 weeks ago. Initially I noticed the FC quite high, showing around 11-12L/100KM. However nowadays I noticed it is around 9.x-10L/100KM (yes, I checked the tripmeter almost every night when I reached home). Anyway I set the tripmeter to "Instant" to see what are the circumstances that cause high FC during driving. On another matter, anyone using the LED side mirror repeater? Is it effective in eliminating blind spots? Does installing this void our car's warranty?

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ May 31 2013, 11:48 PM) If void already no need to scared. Can change whatever you want already. I dont think SC will do mod for you. Better find a SC technician, pay him as a friend, do outside and never say it again. Which projector lamp you changed to? Iron man double ring projector (:

Is it effective in eliminating blind spots? Does installing this void our car's warranty? My FC since I get my car is max 8.6L/100km. Min is 7.5L/100km. This is the figure on tripmeter and I don't believe it fully. I do manual count all this while. Is this figure good? I think it is for a 2 litre car. Manual count is 11.5km/L average after 2 months. So the result is some what consistant. The reflector is to cover blind spot meh? I thought it is for other drivers to see you changing lane? Blind spot gotto use those small round mirrors on side mirror. This post has been edited by lingleeyen: Jun 1 2013, 01:10 PM

QUOTE(Jemi @ Jun 1 2013, 08:35 AM) I feel the suspension a bit hard maybe due to tire pressure? the FC kinda high at this moment. Haven't tinted yet. I think Forte suspension is hard..going thru yellow line at toll obviously can fell the hardness..then this hard suspension comes with soft spring...you can fell the bumpiness when you going thru bump in the roads..

Anyone ever had problem with the multimedia infotainment system, whenever I start to play a movie, in 2-3 sec, it would prompt "Application Manager.exe serious error and must shutdown"???
I was playing a mp4 file.
Thanks.

Foam undercarriage will help. Add spring buffer cushion will help. Small yellow lines la. Those big ones you can't run. That needs a higher profile tire. I was driving a Harier just now. The drive is nothing great but I must say the thick tire gives very comfortable will against potholes. This is what stock rim + tire user longibg for. I almost forget what it feels like to langgar potholes freely. This post has been edited by lingleeyen: Jun 1 2013, 11:40 PM

QUOTE(Jemi @ Jun 1 2013, 05:13 PM) Stock tyre not so good right? AV7 is noisy and hard. Tried sitting on a stock car with PS3. It is like a different world. The SP on tire noise could hv been ommited. Imagine what comfort tire like plc can do.
