I have the key not in the car syndrome on my first 5km drive. At that time I have 2 key fobs in the car. Car stalled at the round about. After I took out 1 of the key fob, it never reoccurs until today.

I ditched SpeedNavi when it failed to locate Lala Chong on the POI. How much was your 'cheap' coating?

That time they hv promotion for permanon coating for RM 199 including washing and waxing.

1. This is quite normal. Happen to me also (New car). Think will ask the service guy during my first service to fix it. From the forum, think they will just stuff something into the gap. Correct me if I'm wrong.

i have none of these problems thanks god. But only 1 issue, sometime i cant pop the boot open with the boot opener inside the car, tried use almost 100% of power to pull also no effect, it just pulled up to the max but no effect, the boot still closed, no choice to use remote control. i tested pulling the opener inside the car, maintaining the position at up the max i can pull, then press the remote control to open, kinda fix it for now. will keep monitor if it fails me again when i pull the inside car boot opener.

By the way, I think I heard a small humming sound came from the front left passenger side. Near the seat belt area, I think. Anybody experience the same thing?

Try not adjusting the seat belt level to the max top. Second or third top should be fine.

Also, if any one suspecting their seat rattling and has rattling noise, tighten all bolts and nuts. Most importantly, buckle the seat belts. All of them. I did mentioned mine has rattling. After buckle up all seat belts, rattling noise gone.

Same here. From dealers' point of view, Forte has performed very well and has contributed immersely to our sales figures over the past 3 years. Despite being an outgoing model, demand for Forte continue to be strong for its exceptional value. notworthy.gif thumbup.gif

impossible. Forte has been phased out and replaced with cerato, no way they will reproduce forte. the demand will go down only because of the price here, worldwide will still have better demand for the cerato.

Your issues & my feedback:

1) Pretty common problem.

2) Have never heard of any other Forte owner encountering the same. I suspect the cause to be a disconnected Air-Conditioner system hose.

3) Check to see if your Air-Conditioner fan motor is workin properly. A faulty air-cond thermostat could also be the problem.

Good luck!
