If you mean GCC, yes, it can happen... the charging current may drop until full charge complete...

It may drop to 800 during the final charging to 100% but assuming that you are charging from much less than 100%, you should not be getting only 800.. could be cable problem (most likely) or problem with charger or power outlet...

Very true, I also gave up on ori Samsung USB cable (1.0 m?) - got a Capdase USB charge/sync cable (1.5 m) from the Samsung SEP in Sunway; enjoying the extra length and charges well so far
