wow. 6 hours ! are you using a larger capacity battery ? tongue.gif
*
All the way stock and of course battery also stock

nah.. thats my new phone always let it idling/sleeping

this is my 5th charge and i decided to test its SOT and i'm sure it can hit 7-8h SOT easily because i still have 18% battery left

and my screen almost 50% while ur screen 28% hehe

and one of the forumer here mentioned its impossible for me to reach such SOT tongue.gif tongue.gif

but then you dont your phone for other purpose except chinese chess ?  hmm.gif
you were connected to wifi for that very short period of time.  ohmy.gif
*
Yes. I will SS it on next using wifi and try other games like NFS and i'm sure i can achieve at least 5-6 h SOT with heavy gaming like NFS and WiFi + 3G with at least 2 days battery history

Screen brightness isn't indicated in the SOT so this might be a contributing factor
*
why don't you try to get a better battery life and SS it here? tongue.gif

auto save battery life ?
my screen is never dim when its on auto.  laugh.gif
*
i saw it from s3's previous thread auto brightness indeed will save battery life. Look at ur screen percentage compare to my screen smile.gif

and i mean 50% brightness for me is too dim. 100% max brightness without auto just fit perfectly

QUOTE(-kytz- @ May 15 2013, 09:44 PM)
Screen On Time (SOT) - basically how long your phone screen stays on.

Can be easily affected by the stuff you do on your phone. Heavy browsing using Wifi/3G plus data sync for your email/whatsapp or some heavy gaming or GPS mode would definitely yield a lower SOT compared to a phone that is sitting idle without Wifi/3G or without any form of activity, with Power Saver mode on maybe. Screen brightness is another huge contributing factor.

Thus, I don't really find it a bragging right or a tool to say "My phone is better than yours" since different people would have different usages, so there's no point in arguing whose SOT is higher and all.
*
Auto power saver is off.

And i found out some ppl butthurt when found out other phone can achieve a better SOT with ScreenShot of course tongue.gif

good on speaking but bad on proving .. action speaks louder than words as old saying goes

Eg, when some ppl see other ppl richer or their life is better.. then they will tend to give various reason such as money laundering, black money , etc etc... lol smile.gif but this shows they really care tongue.gif

You mean the USB cable..?
That one is HTC cable if i'm not mistaken.
I also seldom use the original charger and cable. Any charger will do as long receive the same 1A output..should be okay.

Yes, i mean the USB cable

with WiFi ON 24hrs , 2 days battery life can get around 4.5hrs-5 .. NO 3G

without WiFi ON, 2 days battery life can get 5-7 hrs SOT at least

all above with 100% brightness MAX
