my s3 suddenly battery flat straight when i woke up in the morning just now. as i remember before sleep, the phone has an amount of battery, not so low. and when i checked the the battery has only lasted for 19 hrs +, whereby screen usage was not even up to 2 hrs.

usually my phone can last more than a day also can with screen usage of 2hrs plus. but just do not know why it straight flat to 0% couldnt switch on at all. initially i tot the phone sudden death, wanted to go SC straight. luckily i tried plug in the charger and checked.

does anyone have similiar experience? what could probably be the problem? I have checked other apps

I realised that my phone battery has dropped easily and tremedously.

usually my fully charged phone can last for like more than a day, with around more than 1.30 hrs screen usage. but now it last for less than a day with less than 1.30 hrs of screen usage.

is it battery faulty problem? i checked there are nothing else that is running in the background. if is battery problem,can go for warranty, since my warranty ends coming June.

I do not know why my phone half the screen brighter/lighter the colour and the other half is normal.

Before this I did encountered such thing but whenever I lock unlock screen then it is fine. Now I restart the phone also it will not return back to the normal colour for the screen.

I have attached the screen shot and you may notice that.
I did not drop the phone. It jist suddenly turn out like this.
Have anyone encounter that and whats the problem with it?


Edited: In fact the pictures i uploaded cant show the problem exactly. but it can be seen in phone album clearly.

I just got my phone back after the warranty for a new screen due to some problem with the screen.

Yday whole night i tried restore my phone with KIES. it keep on failed. initially problem with some .dll file then i resolved it by installing visual c++.

however, i have the problem that when i tried restore again, it just wont proceed to restore after the final stage of selecting which files to restore. it will just stuck at the "Preparing to restore" that window.. keep on loading and loading..

I tried uninstall and install kies again with new installer i downloaded from the kies website just in case my old kies installer file is corrupted. problem still persist.

can anyone advice me on this problem please? thank you.

Thanks for reminding me that google can sync my contacts. most importantly is my contacts. thought I can restore back so that I wont need to do all kind of settings on phone and apps anymore.

I wonder if I can copy the back up file .sbu file to another computer which has KIES and try restore from there? Coz im planning to copy the .sbu and try it on my bro's computer since he is using KIES too.
