ROOTING will NOT and NEVER will increase phone performance
It is what you do after root , eg applying tweaks to CPU, installing custom kernels that will give you performance improvements
*
ya... i see
forget to add the works "tweaks after root"

Usually this type of leak firmware, if we update with Odin mobile, we use 'open file' or "Update/OTA zip"?

why when i used 'open file' for 4.2.2, not all file is loaded? only kernal, recovery and system, none on data, cache, modem, param..

kernal still 3.031? baseband still XEMB1?

btw why in this firmware  i have "hotmobile"' boot screen before samsung logo? sweat.gif
*
baseband will be the same with the previous rom
and this leak firmware is unbranded... so no samsung boot screen
about the kernel, im not so clear about it, it may be remain same as well

camera is still the same as in 4.1.2. No difference.

If you want S4 camera features on the S3, you gotta go to XDA and look for a mod for it i guess biggrin.gif
*
the camera functions in S4 can be port, but the phone will hang when using that...
i think it is still in development smile.gif

Using aokp carbon rom for more then 1month, notice that the max battery life is 1day with 5 hours sot.

If use leak rom 4.2.1, i got more sot more then 7 hours and last longer 1days plus2

With 3g all the way and 90% screen brightness...
*
wow... brilliant battery life!!
mine with ARHD and boeffla kernel, got 1 day half with 5 hours sot....

How the hell you guys use your phones... I'm on ARHD 26.0, stock kernel, SOT is >3 hours only, 40% brightness, 3G all the time.  Custom kernel really makes so much difference?
*
yeah... there is some effects from kernel
if you properly set it...
boeffla kernel is so stable
recommend it thumbup.gif
and always keep updating
