Why you need to format system
Just select wipe data/factory reset in CWM is MORE than good enough
No wonder you lose your stuffs

You only format system if you have unstable issues n you want a clean start to reflash any rom

if you use philztouch, there is a segment "prepare for new rom flash" to click, then it will format needed to format parts and flash new rom, easy peasy

i using root explorer, cannot set the permission also

Hi, i just bought a second hand s3, the nfc n the s beam not function,my friend told me that It is caused by the back case of my device which has lost it's nfc chip n i have told the seller to settle this problem by replacing the back case,now im pending him to send me the case. But what i have been curious about is is it true that got a thin nfc chip inside the back case?  Or there is another problem regarding this issue? Thanks for advice!

EXTENDED BATTERY 3600MAH
I recently bought a 3600mah extended battery from brotan store (LYN) for my S3.
Although it printed 4000mah on the battery, I dunno if this is true or not.
Used battery monitor and it shows max is 4255mV min is 3459mV
Can anyone confirm this?

I wanna ask forumers how your stock battery life with stock ROM is?

I tested mine STOCK BATTERY can get roughly around 13hrs with 3G data turned on all the time (with some places goes into wifi mode). Screen on around 2-3hrs.

With the EXTENDED BATTERY 4000mah printed, I got around 16hrs 33m (data turned on all the time with some places wifi). Screen on around 5hrs 2minutes.

Is this good?
I believe my extended should have more life.. maybe I should flash custom ROM and do wipe battery stats?

My mistake, mine is 3000mah not 3600 
no NFC for brotan's battery, either the small or extended both no NFC.
If you use a lot of NFC then maybe need to consider lor..

yeah i think better uptime.
Need to use cover, a bit fatter than normal.. but i think worth it.
Another option is to buy those flip case like with powerbank built in.
When you ran out of battery just turn it on and it will charge the s3.
That one I checked cost RM100. Capacity is like 2600 - 3000mah.
So the stock bat 2100mah + another 2600mah like that lor. However i tried using flip case before.. it just kacau me from using the phone. Protection is good tho..
