is there anyway to remove quicktime without affecting itune?

i try uninstall quicktime, and then when i open my itune, cannot access. anyone know how to remove quicktime without affecting itune? blink.gif

quicktime 7 are required. you cant remove it and use itunes 6.

QuickTime is the 'backbone' of iTunes

In OSX , its the backbone of Safari and many other applications. Without it .....There would be no OSX !

Why would you want to remove quicktime? its a great player plus u get to view HD movie trailers...

You cannot remove quicktime without kaput-ing itunes... Both apps run hand-in-hand in order to function...

Yups...

Anyway how come u want to remove quicktime, eusioxn? Its a good video player that can complement your WMP quite well...

err...i don know, probably there's too many player in my comp and i just wanna remove it, i got window classic, window media, power dvd, real player, divx player, nero player, quick time... omg.....i just wanna get rid some of it. rclxub.gif

Wow, u seem to have lots of players there, bro! Hmmm, y not delete some of the other players but keep the essential ones which are WMP and QuickTime? Just a suggestion, btw...

yep was thinking of remove other player since quicktime cannot be remove. hehe. thxs for the advice. smile.gif
