honestly I think pricing @ 1.8K is overprice.
1.6K is more acceptable.

QUOTE(Boldnut @ May 16 2013, 09:36 AM) Nokia phones are usually very high price in the beginning then drop within 3 months (and they need to pay for windows phone license unlike Android which is free). iPhone is even more overpriced in comparison, will never understand how a phone with lower spec than all other flagships being the most expensive. As a Nokia supporter i dont mind them taking my money though, i like to be an early bird getting a new flagship on launch day. Nokia needs support given their current market position, and very few people appreciate the kind of innovation they are bringing into phones in hardware. QUOTE(LightningZERO @ May 16 2013, 11:11 AM) My prediction is RM 1899. Since our smartphones have no taxes, that means the price Nokia announced, direct convert it and you are pretty close to our Malaysian pricing. |

QUOTE(Boldnut @ May 16 2013, 04:23 PM) not really, dont blame Microsoft, the problem of pricing is their high end model. Like Mr. Docter said, they price it to match the flagship price range. If Nokia prices their flagships at 16xx range their reputation can be damaged, people who lack knowledge (in fact, many people with degrees, PhD still dunno much about phones) would assume a Nokia flagship is not as good as other brand because it is cheaper. And, many Nokia users are of older generation and adults who stay loyal to Nokia because they have been using their products since 1990s. To us of course it seems overpriced because we compare specs with other brands. I still remember the days where a Nokia N95 cost like RM 2700 and people resort to AP ones to save a few hundred 520/620/720 pricing pretty gooding. u wont find a android phone with this spec @ this pricing. but 920 is way overpriced This post has been edited by EXkurogane: May 16 2013, 07:53 PM |
