There is other reason why use snapdragon compare to tegra.

Because qualcomm provide 1 full solution for the device.
Asus just follow the design from qualcomm will do.
Do not need to find and match other ic.

Safe time and money.

But Qualcomm chip worst in stability and handling compare to samsung and tegra chip.
Hope nexus 7 have extra external codec that not from qualcomm (this cost from few $ to almost $20) or else, the sound quality will suck to the max..

Qualcomm chips are better at both than Tegra, this coming from an owner of 2 devices using both chips

conclusion qualcomm processor is the best processor among the other right
*except GPU, tegra sure win

yup. so far for responsiveness and pure processing power, nothing beats qualcomm chips. this also applies to the Exynos. but graphic performance it's lagging a bit behind them both.

hilarious!!!

if wanna run out of juice then stop tethering lar
if you set up hotspot all the time you would know how to do it (just 1 toggle away in quick settings)

so yea, hilarious and yes, my english is impeccably good and reading your sentence sans the red highlights would bring along the same understand as well. i would believe its wiser to google your thoughts before posting it on the internet where stupidity is hardly tolerated and mostly made fun of.

cheers

i agree, been doing wifi hotspot / tethering with my galaxy Y since it's launch, and it's only good for 2 things, phone calls and hotspot. u can't type on it because the screen size is the same as the finger, u can't play games on it because it's a cheap a$$ piece of shxt, u can't do anything else with it except throw it into the wall when u got frustrated with it. best thing about it is it's super battery life (1200 mAH) that will last me 2 days at least with hotspot and some calls, 1 week if I use it rarely.

nowadays android's wifi hotspot doesn't eat a lot of battery. even on my Nexus 4 if I do hotspot also can last about 4 hours with a full charge, but rarely need to use it for that long, usually 30 min to 1 hour only.

so now, back on topic...

My nexus 7 (2013)-32GB has arrived. Clearance from custom without any issue. description put- "PC Tablet".
Available space left is 26GB. Android Firmware took 8GB. Now cannot touch as it is updating firmware and download app from my previous nexus 7(old) and recharging.
