a question here, anyone know the 3g/4g nexus 7 can receive incoming calls and make outgoing calls??

I just completed YAMTT test on N7. So far passed. No issue as reported.

after your post, i did try again (kiasu). I did ran the test when charging and on the table. Passed as well

Mine recieved 2x OTA updates when I boot out of the box. Got it few days before raya. So far NO reboot or what so ever..
Any way I am just  light user - chrome/ fb/ etc..

Now it is on JSS15J.

By right should move to JSS15J as previous has some bug. That's why Google release update.

For those who are still waiting for the  OTA update, you can follow below instruction to get quick update.

1. Go to Settings -> Apps -> All

2. Find Google Services Framework.

3. Tap on Force Stop.

4. Select Clear Data.

5. Head back to the Nexus 7’s Settings, go to About, and check for a System Update.

Try a few times if fail.

sigh, i seem to have the random reboot problem, and nobody on the internet  has find out the cause/solution for this yet. heres hoping it is a software related problem, otherwise sending back to US will be a hell lot of hassle

Have any of you guys experienced random reboots while using the tablet?

Haven't contact Asus yet. Getting receipt now.
Mine has very minor backlight bleed on top. Won't see it during normal usage. Normal for LCD screen...

when you say top as in top when in portrait mode? mine is at the top center, but kinda spreads across (more obvious in the top center area)

haha.. just teasing you.  Your mindset is typical potential buyers' mindset - try looking for issues, problem, or some nitpick features, etc., like some bros mentioned in the earlier pages of this thread. 

Once you bought it, then only you realise why you do not buy it earlier. 

Btw, i actually din notice there is any improvement on the screen reso compared to first gen, placing the 2 side by side.  But after using it for about 2 weeks, i pick up my first gen Nexus 7 again yesterday night then only i realised the first gen screen is kinda grainy - can notice the lower res screen effect now. 

i got the update the other day bt sadly something went wrong and ended up in recovery (i read over in xda it has something to do with having a custom recovery). is there any way to overcome this? keep hitting the check now button over in update software in setting but no update
