Well, its going to be more expensive because its from newegg, and not neweggbusiness. There's a 6% tax if buying from Newegg.

Update: saw the 16GB listed on neweggbusiness, hmmm.... Shark mode on har?

And add few hundreds more for LTE and all of a sudden, xperia don't seem to be that expensive.

Well, if it's memopad smart, then it should be not that sharp.

It only has 1280x800 over 10'' screen which translate 149 PPI. I think you probably looking at a different model. Usually the shop will crank up the display all the way to make the screen look better while it's not. I think the probability of you looking at another model which is the Transformer series is high. It has full HD and the IPS+ screen is very very nice indeed.

Personally tried Nexus 7 2012 and Fonepad. I don't think there's much to expect from these sub 1K devices. If you want something sharp, Samsung is now dumping Nexus 10 for RM849. Sharpness is very very good, but don't expect color like ipad4.

1.6k??!! What makes them think one would shell out that much and not add a bit more for Z Ultra?
