QUOTE(alpha33 @ Oct 8 2013, 05:45 PM) just bought my nexus 7. Do you open the video in external video player like MX player? I tried to open in MX player and it seems running fine to me.immediately paid USD2.99 for a NMI(Nexus media importer). plug in OTG, and tried to play a 2xxmb MP4 video file. why does it stream inmstead of playing it directly?and it is lagging too. any idea? QUOTE(konzen1314 @ Oct 8 2013, 10:49 PM) Hey all, If light game then it won't get hot easily, it will get hot if you play graphics intensive games like Asphalt 8, MC4, FIFA 14 etc. As for watching movies, yes it does get hot after watching for a long period but I think it's normal since it utilizes the processor when you watch video. I personally prefer new Nexus 7 rather than iPad Mini because of its higher screen resolution, better processor and RAM etc.i have question on this new nexus. do this device get hot when playing normal game for too long or watching video for too long? as i have tried ipad mini, it doesn't get hot when play normal game and streaming video..im in dilemma on choosing which 1 |

I tried to open in MX player and it seems running fine to me. thanks for your great opinion..one more question~! I personally never use any nexus (pure android) before and i was wondering that the smoothness of this nexus 7.. is it buttery smooth and switching between apps is seamless? Yes, it runs buttery smooth for me and haven't encounter any lag so far, btw I am not using stock ROM atm, but you shouldn't worry about the smoothness of stock ROM, it is always the one of the smoothest Rom out there coz i have played my sis ipad mini (iOS 6), it was smooth enough but once she upgrade to iOS7, it get lagged (which is a minus point for this). really appreciated for your great opinion~! You can always try out the demo unit first if you are wondering about the smoothness of the device. |

QUOTE(konzen1314 @ Oct 8 2013, 10:41 PM) SenQ/SenHeng selling at RRP 1299. So if you want more discount, wait another 1/2month later, they will get discount price from RM50-150(max) but most probably RM50 discount only, you still get 2years warranty anyway.QUOTE(konzen1314 @ Oct 8 2013, 11:07 PM) thanks for your great opinion..one more question~! Pure Android is the smoothness out here. Everyone agree on this point.coz i have played my sis ipad mini (iOS 6), it was smooth enough but once she upgrade to iOS7, it get lagged (which is a minus point for this). really appreciated for your great opinion~! |

I personally never use any nexus (pure android) before and i was wondering that the smoothness of this nexus 7.. is it buttery smooth and switching between apps is seamless? Even the ipad gets hot after prolonged usage. These devices does not come with cooling fans, hence a little heat is of course expected. coz i have played my sis ipad mini (iOS 6), it was smooth enough but once she upgrade to iOS7, it get lagged (which is a minus point for this). really appreciated for your great opinion~! In my personal opinion, in terms of android, nexus devices are the best experience you can get, in terms of fluidity and performance. I have instagram, facebook, and falcon pro running almost all the time, and while switching between tasks, the nexus 7 holds up to its name. Though it does show a longer delay while switching to more power hungry applications, such as games. I was never a big fan of apple's ecosystem, but I must agree that it's speed was unmatched, until the recent update to iOS7, which seems to stutter all apple's devices. |
