Hmm, but my tv supports some, I have this movies that I transferred from a disc to my external hard disk, the subtitles can be played, there are no subtitle file in the folder but it can be played with the movie , and can be selected whether to on or off

if there any way that I can apply the same thing to my other movies?
some main files come with subtitles embedded, so you don't see them in the folder. if so, no need separate srt or sub or other types of subtitle files. only if they don't work do you need to find and put srt files in the folder.
embedded or srt files - they come in diff quality, depends on the source. it also about tv or dvd/bd player or media player capability.
srt out of sync - some media players have a lead/lag function for subtitles so you can adjust to get it right, check yr player manual.
finally, try replacing that with one srt file that has same file name or close to it (then rename) from:
