1. Younger
2. Seems to better in a team based approach
3. Command less salary

i hav been following thiago years back in their academy before he sign extended contract with barca...that time i think he has 100mill release clause...ronaldinho still at prime at barca that time...the same year messi starting to dominate the world...thiago just miss the ship...the position that he play at barca is dominate by xavi,iniesta,busquet...or else he wud make the grade...then cesc coming back...he is down the pecking order...

for me thiago is a player that hav potential to be worldclass...he play with this calmness of a matured player...beyond his age...quality that i admire most...nothing seems to unfazed him...he just play his game...sort of how scholesy approach of the game...

but...at the moment...i think as much as i want n admire him to don our jersey...he will be surplus requirement...years ago if he didnt extended contract with barca n wait for his chances...maybe he is running our engine room now...replacing scholesy n retired the master early n no need make him do a comeback...

looking at the squad now...we hav kagawa, cleverley, ando, powell etc...lots of creative player that coming to age to showcase their talent...as pass 2 season is their learning curve in the top flight...so...i do see it as a waste of talent...thiago coming will limited their chances...n thiago will need to fight for place in the squad...tho i think he will be great signing if he do arrive...still he need time to settle down in the EPL game...
