Thiago has undoubtedly been one of the players of the tournament and he was again in fine form as Spain demolished the Netherlands. The Barcelona star, who has been playing in a deeper role, completed 90% of his passes and was involved in starting almost all of Spain's attacks.

damn right i'm happy too either one join united..

1. he is younger but not tht really young.. he'll be 24 next month

2. 2-3 season ago maybe but last season he look less a team player given the more freedom role he been given. in some way i think bale and spurs fail last season. theres more quality in spurs then arsenal last term.. they should place higher than the gunners

3. no argument on tht.. but ronaldo clearly deserve to be paid higher wt the status his at now. then again money wise i think bale will cost united a lot for transfer as i doubt spurs wanna sell bale to clubs in england. and wt RM also gunning for him.. bale price will sky rocket. ronaldo got 2 years left on his contract.. maybe we can hv much fairer price for him
*
A left footer winger, like the young giggsy brows.gif Just 23. Still can improve more i'd say brows.gif brows.gif

ronaldo wage demand probably double or triple of bale's LOL. But i wouldnt mind or rule out CR7 returning to us.

Btw, let's grab thiago alcantara! But despite his performances for spain u-21, barca must be working really hard to keep him at barca as well

Xavi Inesta Busquet is confirm starting lineup. If barce not going to buy any defenders, mascherano mostly will be backup for defender or rotate with busquet, same goes to song. Cesc is more to Xavi style, and Xavi is aging, just matter of time for him to replace xavi. Thiago is more to Iniesta style, but Iniesta still young, that why I think Thiago will have higher chance to join us than other midfielder we linked with.
*
Actually Thiago is a combination in between xavi and iniesta. He passes a lot(good at quick passing)m, yet balanced by making penetrating runs like iniesta(of couse he doesnt make as many skills as iniesta tho)

if this is SAF negotiating SAF always try to cut a deal which is 1-2 million pound less and lost the deal in the end bec teams are willing to pay that extra.

Examples :
2003 Robben (when Robbens dad say over my dead body he will not join chelsea, only MU, in the end?)
2003 Ronaldinho
Michael Essien
Gareth Bale
etc

then only to buy inflated prices for others

Moyes? I hope he does not repeat this mistake
*
Ya lo..how i wished that we signed robben that time. Ended up at chelsea....

Rooney is unique. I like Rooney. He can be a United legend if he get his head together and commit himself.

Rooney's abilities are not new to everyone. He has the passion to win, an  engine-player with strength and creativity that not many player posses. Lately, I've noticed Rooney's lack of fitness, his stamina is not as good as before. I don't know why but when he is at his best, he will perform.

If you noticed, Rooney will run up and down the pitch just to get the ball. His stamina was endless, attack-defend-attack, but lately I just don't see that in him. Ever since Hargreaves left, Rooney has became my favorite player in United. It is just disappointing that he tried to alter a move out of United before, and now another speculation of him wanting to quit, which he denied.

Anyway, TL:LR, Rooney needs to stay at United. He is a special talent, even if there is no confirmed slot for him, he can work his way up again and become the #10 that he was before this season.

Baines would be a great addition to the squad. He will provide cover for evra and then succeed him.

this is the biggest mystery of the England National Team.

If Baines really was good, why didn't Roy Hodgson pick him? Nobody knows.

Just like how Heskey was subbed on instead of Crouch during 2006 World Cup.

and Baines chose not to because he was given first team all the way under Moyes. and he really established himself to be one of the key members in defence. considering Baines is a package, a defender with a serious sweet left foot, and being able to score from free kicks.

I'd give Baines a go. plus he's English. English players are always good for English clubs. something about the squad registration process.

but the only downside is that he is coming to 29 soon. only left with 3 years of playing time (with stamina, and then he become uncle baines) so that is also a concern.

if tl;dr nah i give u summary

1) Leighton Baines > Ashley Cole
2) England National Team sux
3) Baines good ENGLISH left back
4) Proven in EPL (with stats to back him up)
5) Not given International chance (please see 2)
6) soon to become uncle Baines.
*
err more like ashley cole has been england's dominant left back for the past 10 years seldom see him being dropped. .But baines being inside the Premier League PFA Team of the Year for the past two seasons just shows how good he is brows.gif

Edited: thiago's brother likely to stay in spain. thiago might follow suit sweat.gif
