I recently received a hood & hob as a gift. I am currently renovating my house.
Can i know what is a reasonable price charged by contractor to install a new hood & hob.

The holes and wiring has is already prepared.

aik how come u never ask the shop to provide installation service also?? for the hood that time the shop provide the service to install it cause need to drill the hole. no extra charge also from that shop for the installation. the hob just put there ok liao

What type of hood did you get? Extraction or recirculation? Do you already have a place to put the hob?

It's an extraction hood. Wiring is done. Need to fixed the hood and run the piping to the wall and hole.

If the hob's hole has been done, you can just insert it yourself and then just attach the gas hose. For the hood, i have no idea. My guess it ranges from RM100 to RM250, depending on jobs. If you have another job for the installer, like installing the kitchen kabinet, you might get a cheaper price.

ya, you can ask ur kitchen kabinet installer install for you, mine was free.

KC contractor know how to install Hob & Hood? Last time i buy from Homedec then request foc installation.

Labour only should less than RM300. However, the ducting will charge based on foot run.
