Just got back from Kinokuniya KLCC. Both the US and UK hardcover versions are available, RM98.80. At Kino, it's 20% with purchase of another item, or 25% if you're a member.

Going to Amsterdam tonight, so I'll have plenty of time to spare to savour this book. I prefer the US cover with that side profile of Dante Alighieri, but the UK version has illustration of the seven circles of hell at the back. I needed a copy to abuse and a copy to keep pristine so got myself one of each. tongue.gif Now to look for that reading gloves of mine. I'm a bit picky about finger oils tainting, smudging and wrinkling the pages of the books in my collection.

Time for a new book this weekend smile.gif

Which cover is nice? I'm leaning towards UK version.

This is not the illustrated edition right? Can't wait to read the reviews! I'm thinking of buying the eBook on iTunes for $15, checking out the sample now.

No, not fully illustrated. It comes with images of certain symbols/logos though.

For illustration, you need to get the illustrated edition of Dante's Divine Comedy. Really graphic detailed illustrations. The cover I got for that illustrated Edition of Divine Comedy is red in color. Illustrated by Gustave Dore.

Hi, what's do you mean by "it's 20% with purchase of another item"?? Buy 1 book only can't get 20% discount?

Meh... I thought the book was so-so only as compared to the Da Vinci code, which was really controversial and interesting.

The facts in the book is very true though, hopefully things don't get too bad in our lifetime.

I guess it has good storyline/plot? Thinking of buying this book for my wife. She loves reading Dan Brown's books.

It is good, but the description of the places and art/history gets boring sometimes. Maybe if you like travelling you'll also like it.

Buy it!

Don't forget the Lost Symbol too if haven't read already.

Thanks for the reply.
The lost symbol I bought it for my wife when I first saw it at bookstore smile.gif
It's quite sometime she didn't get to read any book after she gave birth. So I am thinking to buy her some books. Another author she likes is Mitch Albom.

da vinci's code was exciting. but then came the lost symbol...and i felt he lost it all there. to me, the lost symbol was bad.

i don't know if i'll ever read another of his books again.
