QUOTE The JIG just resets your flash counter and remove the yellow triangle during first bootup What does this counter do exactly? It's very simple: it counts the number of times you flash a custom ROM or kernel on your SGS II, so the guys over at Samsung know of it when you return the phone to them for any kind of problem you may have (this is done so they can say whether you've voided your warranty or not). Even using Odin to get back to stock won't help you and will let the counter go up by one The good news is that the counter can be reset by using one of those jigs we all know very well No, unfortunately Samsung has very clear in mind what it's doing. It seems there is a second counter, which counts the number of times the custom flash counter has been reset, and the bad news is that its position/folder has not been discovered yet got this in s2 thread first page. does this applied in s3m too? QUOTE(jakgelap @ Jun 16 2013, 09:22 PM) free version from xda. i got no cc to buy apps. and will never have cc. btw. tried no frill cpu. rebooted. seems like the setting stick. 1008ghz max cpu. 300ghz min cpu. thx bro. edit : hurrm.. this is strange. in no frills cpu. the setting still there. but in performance tab inside setting it still 1.2ghz. edit 2 : ok check again using voltage control apps. 1.2ghz. no frill is not working. the value in no frills stick. but reality is it still max on 1.2ghz. QUOTE(jakgelap @ Jun 19 2013, 09:21 AM) Its kernel problem, maybe not compitable with the cpu control, try flash another kernel that support CM roms, btw what kernel are you using on that s2? already tried all available AOSP kernel in xda s2g thread. now using greenblob.tried setcpu again. but using profile now. seems like a good workaround. even when the frequencies jump back to 1.2ghz. the profile when trriggered will auto put it back to 1ghz. will try for a few days good or not. |
