i just used the original firmware. most people now use iphone or android phone. but for function and free apps, should be android phone . for s3m price, its totally overprice for mid range spec(should be rm600-700 more reasonable price) rm900+ samsung ripoff . but for quality, the phone is good. better than my lenovo P770

Hmm... so do you recommend S3mini? Now that you mentioned the price, it kinda put me off a lil from getting this. But so far I only found this and S2 being decent and within my budget. I have a budget of RM900 and SKMM Rm200 rebate. Still a student and using my first salary to get a phone... that's why been such a pain for me. Want to find a phone that can last me for 2-3 years for basic functions since I don't play games on my phone.

S2 was the samsung flagship at 2011, most of s2 spec are better than s3m, but now s2 a consider outdated phone . s2 vs s3m, s2 win . cuz i have both phone and s2 just got new firmware update to 4.1.2

Outdated in terms of? Sounds like S2 isn't outdated in terms of firmware if it just got updated.

Edit: Oh wai... I meant S2 Plus... S2 is still RM1k+, S2 plus is RM800+ only

from the info i got, s2 plus seem have less internal memory space, s2 have 16gb, the s2 plus 8gb. but s2 plus still better than s3m btw

i made a mistake of flashing enox modem zip and now my phone keep loop in boot. never got past samsung s3mini load then reastart back.
the problem is i cant get my phone to cwm recovery by using 3 button combo. any solution. T_T

take out your battery for few seconds and try recovery mode again.

yes used odin like how you flash the cwm,but extract that roms from zip 1st, b4 it can be used with odin

it went black and loop back to 1st s3m word. then loop again till i remove battery.

all this i because enox pre installed holo launcher keep freezing. i tot shud flash the modem file. dammm
that holo launcher oso cant uninstall. maybe i gonna try Dmod. but he also pre installed app in his rom.

the problem is, the enox version you try is not optimized for N* version . That was i worried about when you try the non N*. for the N* version, no problem to me flashing both zip
