QUOTE
We offer:
-A friendly and active community centered around GMT +8 to +11 (Singapore, Malaysia, Australia).
-First English speaking FC on Tonberry, and second FC on server.
-400 members so far and growing, but it's not just numbers that matter, but an active, vibrant community.
-Your opinion matters, everyone is involved in major guild decisions, usually via a poll or thread on our forums.
-Hardcore raiding backbone, fair loot distribution, raids for midcore and casual players too!
-PvP, crafting and housing (eventually)
-A community with lots of anime fans  /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\

A dedicated free company looking to make a mark in the seventh umbral era. We are made up of a mix of hardcore, midcore and casual players operating around SEA/ANZ.
If you are an anime fan, that's an extra plus biggrin.gif

On a personal note, I hop between Singapore, Malaysia and Australia. Besides gaming, I watch and fansub anime.

Free Company Direction
QUOTE
This will be a semi dedicated endgame focused free company. Nothing will be mandatory.

Raids are a mix of ad-hoc and static raid teams. We run many ad-hoc events open for everyone, but there are static raid teams for more hardcore folks too.

We're also not forgetting about housing and crafting, we'll have something for everyone. Therefore, even if you are not a hardcore player, there will still be lots you can do.

Leadership is dynamic, and decisions will reflect popular vote. Therefore, both hardcore and casual players should be represented in guild politics.

Requirements
QUOTE
-English will be the main language used in guild chat. Other languages are fine, but you need to understand basic conversational English.

-Play nice and you will be treated nice. No trolls, hecklers or griefers.

-This is a semi dedicated guild, geared towards "active-casual" and up. However, as a student myself, I understand there are times when one needs to take breaks from the game, thus there are no official activity requirements unless you want to join the full time raid team, but if you do need to go away for too long, please let us know.

There is FF14 MAJOR thread hanging on the top of the forum where all the players who interested often post and checking replies.
If you are recruiting, it is better to post inside the related thread so it can get attention from people who are going to play the game.

This is a multiple games forum , if every guild from every game is making a guild recruitment topic ( especially for game that hasn't even been " released " ) , the entire forum will be flooded with recruiting posts , there will no longer be any discussion.

On a side note you don't even have a proper website , doesn't look convincing at all to me personally. There are buncha free MMO guild sites, so theres absolutely no excuse, not everyone with facebook is comfortable sharing their real life identity within the guild as well.

We will get site soon, in fact kinda already have that lined up. Just need about 30 people first before that's worth it. We've had considerable interest from here and elsewhere, so this will happen, the question is how many we can get before beta 4 starts.
Also, recruiting here is proper use of the forum, nothing against the TOS. Posting in that FFXIV discussion thread might actually *derail* the thread, and that wouldn't be very nice of us.

You are actually incorrect . Recruiting for a specific game and recruiting for a guild of a game is different. Frequently the recruitment posts I saw are looking for playmate for games .

Once in a while with the release of AAA title ( such as GW2 ) , there will occasionally be quite a few recruiting Topics . These posts will eventually be moved into another specific online game section that is opened for the game if it is popular enough . But that is not the case for FFXIV ARR , at least not yet.

As I have made assumption , if every single guild leader from every available mmo make just 1 new thread , this will no longer be a ONLINE-GAMING forum. It will be a MMO Guild recruitment section.

And I doubt a simple guild recruiting post will go derail the original FFI4 topic . As of now I have seen very little or close to no discussion on your guild recruitment , that means theres not enough player interested in the game or interested in joining your guild yet.

Not everything you do is against the TOS . But not everything that is not against the TOS is the appropriate way to go.

We just started up and growing by the day. Of course it's quiet at first, but we've got significant interest and have enough to pull this off now.

Also this thread is obviously working since we got a few people from here. It was accordingly tagged under "guilds" and in the right subforum.

Should I take that as an offensive threatening warning ? wink.gif

I am merely telling the op what was going on in the forum.
Yes he is just recruiting , but have you seen any recruiting posts for guild floating around the forum ?

My lengthy reply wasn't meant to be offending OP and no hyperbole in that.

Most of the times if the games are popular enough to have seen many Guild ( guilds, not games ) recruiting posts they would get a sub forum, else the mod would have just modded the random recruiting thread.

We might and would have to make an official request from the forum moderators.
From what I see for now the original FF14 thread is still one of the longest running thread .

But since RO2 has yet to receive their very own section , we will have to wait until the actual launch to see if the mod permit our request.
