Im having issues with my myvi
Im using new myvi se 1.3 s series
Last week i go to accessories shop at Jalan Cheras to buy active subwoofer
So im buying mbq 8 inch aw-800 (not remember the model)
Installation has been made by toke kedai..
The problem is when im increase my volume up to 18 and above, my active sub
will making sound like no enough power to make the beat.Bunyi bass like sangkut2..Not pecah sound
I think that active sub broken so im want to claim warranty to that shop.
But the tokey kedai said to me yg 8inch mmg x enough power punye n must changr to 10inch la.
N if i want to claim warranty, he will sent that woofer to kilang n will take 2 month to repair it..
So please someone guide me..
Do you using betamek oem myvi player (no touchscreen) n mbq active sub 8inch?.Do you have any issues with this?.
I want to make a police report if tokey kedai dont want to replace new active sub.
Please help me..

cap ayam unfamiliar player and mbq (huge difference from MB Quart) active sub.
really, what were you expecting?

how much you paid? and do you know how much it cost for a decent reputable brand HU/active sub?

check the gain.how high is the gain.try lower it down.see if it still off.when it off does the power indicator (LED) switched off too?

wat number is the max vol?we obviously dont know how loud is 18.

this type of sub is not made for loud. it is just for the people inside the car. so dont expect too much out of it.

sorry to say, no cure for your craving with bass on that setup
