QUOTE(cagalli12 @ Dec 25 2013, 11:16 AM) Hello, I've read a lot of post here saying that their phone last for 36 hrs or 48 hrs or more. Battery drain can be different if you are running different apps. If you are running 3D games with high brightness and sound, sure it will drain faster. If you are running a lot of background apps such as Facebook, Whatsapp, LINE, WeChat you phone battery will also drain fast. If you come to a place where you have weak network, your phone battery also drain faster because it tries to search for 3G. You can enable STAMINA mode to save battery but you may miss social apps notification when the phone screen is off.Does that mean even if you play games for more than an hour and maybe after that go to social apps it doesn't drain much energy or maybe it does? Oh and when will you know when the battery is fully charge already? The man who was in charge of selling me this phone said that when the notification light turns green it's already full, when I charge it and saw that the light was green and click the power button the battery picture said that it's not yet because the green color on the battery did not yet consume the entire battery drawing on the screen. Please Help!! About the LED notification, during charging the light is orange. When it reaches 90% or more, the light change to green until the battery is fully charged. You can show the battery percentage by checking the box in Settings -> Power Management (POWER INFORMATION). Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(cagalli12 @ Dec 26 2013, 11:17 AM) I see. I've enabled the stamina mode and tried testing it. I left it on standby mode with 39% at around 11pm and when I woke up at 9.30am it was down to 22%. Is that normal? I think it is normal that your phone only drain 17% for 10 hours standby. You can use Smart Connect to turn off the mobile data, silent mode and brightness at Night by plugging in your charger. This also may save some battery. And how will you know if the game your playing is classified as a "heavy game" because they say it drains a lot of battery. And does the app still run when for example you left your facebook without logging it out and switch off the wifi. Sorry if I have too many questions. A heavy game which is more complicated such as Need for Speed, Asphalt, Minion Rush with high graphical detail can use more CPU and GPU processing power. Game which requires Internet connection also may drain more battery juice. Even you are set STAMINA mode, some apps like LINE also can prevent it from standby completely. |

I have manually updated my C5503 to 4.3 with Russian ftf using Androxyde's flashtool. Everything seems fine except I lost my Sony keyboard with Chinese input. I just downloaded Google Pinyin as replacement.
A little bit regret for the update however my AnTuTu scores has improved from 20,773 (4.2.2) to 21,675 (4.3). I need to monitor the battery drain after this update. |

QUOTE(kimjs90 @ Dec 28 2013, 10:09 PM) After I updated to 4.3 with Russian version I cannot open SONY Select. I thought it was problem of the ROM. I think SONY Select was down for past few days. Now I can open SONY Select but I downloaded AR Effect from Play Store. However, I still unable to find SONY Info-Eye in Play Store. |
